Reference: For the umpteenth time I say, Nigeria does not and cannot have a viable airline industry. Whatever you see flying is not and cannot be legit business but the plaything of billionaire rogues and their government and foreign collaborators. Our economy cannot support viable aviation the way it currently runs.

Aero can no longer support itself and its operations. This became obvious 3-4 years ago. The easy way out for them which was proposed was to explore the option of meger with other airlines. But trust 9ja business, the won't even consider that option. Let see how they ll manage it. I think NCAA should step up supervision and monitoring of AERO operations to avoid short cuts to aircraft maintenance.

AERO service is still the best so far, up till 2005 or so, aero do business with oil companies only, is recently they ventured fully into commercialised flight, and for them to serve multinationals for a longer time, it means they dont joke with time and safety, again AERO is the only airline in Nigeria that started booking online even as cheap as N3000 arround 2007,2008 till 2011, am not their staff but i fly aero regularly,even in the western world, best airline do have one little issues or the other but not always so is EARO service in NIGERIA

Thank God they refunded immediately but that left us with the inconvenience of having to do the sokoto-abuja-lagos connection. Costing like an extra 15k in hard earned cash and ensuring I spent an extra 3 hrs on the trip. Terrible experience really. And to think that the apology text only got to my phone when I was about to land in lag.

Nobody can force workers to work hen d work place is uncondusive and unhearting. How can dedicated and experienced workers continue to WORK and baboons beging to chop people sweat and money. While T.F. Worked in Air Nigeeria on N500,000 per month, she lost her job as she earned more salary than professionals only for her to recruited in aero on N1.8m per month btw April- december 2012 and by Jan 2013 thru some magical hoodwinking, her salary rose ro N2.4m per month (N29m p a) with a brand new PRADO JEEP purchased by mgt in her name at N9.7m with N40,000 fuel seed, 3 drums of diesel to power band new gen at N8.8m;. EDFCA - 2.7m pm & mercedes jeep 12m, 80,000 fo fuel - for GM rw- 2.6m pm, prado jeep - N9.7, N40,000 for fuel all these in a coy claimed is going tru hard times. Is AMCON aware of all these? If yes did did AMCON inject Nigeria tax payers money in aero for some thieving mgt to steal and siphon? If no, what does AMCON intend to do to put a stop to these abnormalities? Aero mgt spent N250m on consultancy on aero/amcon negotiation. Tope is from AIR NIGERIA and she is bringing in pple frm air nigeria - we all know how AIR NIGERIA ended in to hands of so called experts? May we not see same in our aero -it is no longer news that plan to outsource virtually all units/depts except themselves. D questn? Who owns GREATER WASHINGTON? REMLOYD TOUR and CAR, SKYBORD ltd?

Vavom thanks for your information an airline full of rogues, those bastards are thieves and I think the EFCC searchlight should be directed at the their top management for criminal stealing from aero. I heard a terrible experience flying with them last month in feb. only God saved us we would have crashed.

Aerocontrators flight nearly crashed!!!

On 1st February from owerri to Lagos I boarded a flight AJ344 to Lagos 5N-BIZ. This same aircraft had issues some months back. we were in the aircraft and doors have been closed, the pilot was about to start the engine then suddenly the lights in the plane went off, and later it came up.In a twinkle of an eye the aircraft lights again went off and there was panic and pandemonium people starting shouting that they want to get off the plane.I have read severally times that this aircraft have had near miss incidents.

Eventually the whole passengers got off the plane.Its only God that saved us if the pilot had taken off then the whole system then shuts down what would have happened to the lives of the passengers; maybe another Dana crash God forbid.

The captain was addressing us at departure hall that it was the generator that refused to come on....LIES AGAIN. Anyway, the flight was eventually cancelled till the following day. Aerocontarctors couldn't even give us hotel accommodation to stay that night, I and some people slept in the mosquito filled airport in owerri.

Aero must stop these nonsense they are heartless and I will never advice anyway to fly them anymore even with their promo.Their aircrafts are old and they swap parts from 1 aircraft to another to fix the another 1.Sssshhhhhhhhh

EFCC should move in to investigate this airline asap! What tha f........? Rumour has it that the so called debts d coy is in is all fictitious, a smoke screen created from buying junk planes and over valuing them in the loans they secured from the bank, millions of dollars. The bank, we all now know is defunct after bail out funds were made available to pay off the loans. If it's true then these pple are crooks. Is anyone out there seeing all these and keeping quiet? It explains all that has befallen dis airline and the industry at large. Same thing happened to air nigeria, funds were given to d airline to pay it's debts and d money was said to have been diverted by d Oga himself, no one is asking questions. Will aero go down like air nigeria after 50 plus years? No wonder businesses never live to d next generation in dis country, the owners kill it themselves and leave thousand of employees out in the cold. A big shame indeed.

The last time my directors flew via aero from Lagos to PH was on Sunday the 10th of March 3pm flight. They complained that the airconditioning system was inefficient during the flight and as such it was hot. Next time we will try ARIK.
