Yujin: To the SS and SE who have been robbed, raped and abandoned by those heartless thieves, the Lord has heard your cries. He has seen your suffering and has decided to intervene. Your land was taken as a conquered territory and the resources thereof as spoils of war. If only the G.Os of our most respected Church denominations will reveal the truth that God tells them about Nigeria! How can the annexation of a people's resources be the will of God? A Nigeria with a skewed political arrangement and dubious economic policies designed to give some regions undue advantage over others be the will of God? Can men of good conscience speak up? Give the oil wells back to the communities and collect taxes/revenues from them. Simple You must be referring to those govs of the oip producing states and their godfathers who usurped and continue to share the 13% derivation funds, not the Nigetian businesses that are awarded oil blocks listed by the OP. Fanaticism at it's peak! |

ecosanders: ahah c dis 1 hw many una b 4 ND? Ordinary BH cough una kip quiet wen ur militants say dey wil tak d fight 2 dem. Just shutup n dnt pray 4 war.Just so you know war is not about numbers its about resources and resourcefulness case in point whats the population of kuwait? Its what you have that purveyors of war ie the world superpowers stands to gain from the people that determines the outcome of wars! keep thinking that if there is ever war in Nigeria that the superpowers will come to the aid of the majority region. The reality backed by history is that resources wins all the time. You can keep dreaming all you want but the ND know the truth. the western countries cares only for their interest only, tell me what interest europe and america has in boko haram region. Now is the time to negotiate with the ND while you still can all they are asking is HCF. support that and stop all the threat is scares no one. BH has nothing on ND millitants! |

Sharrks: Mr.Man go and read the genesis of Iraq vs Kuwait war and you will see that Iraq use their population strenght to over run Kuwaitmaybe thats why iraq untill recently was an occupied territory and is today at the verge of becoming a failed state due to insecurity and kuwait is in relative peace and prospering. Thanks for your very insightful comment on the issue. |

most of them are not the real owns of the investment. if it was, Ile ife would be the most beautiful city in Nigeria. the way it ways is if i have a friend abroad.. He give me $10 million dollar to go and drill for oil in Nigeria because he can not go and live in Nigeria. In return for his $10 million. I pay him a return each more from the day, we start selling oil. This is how most of them is.. It may be $1 million per month for over 4 or 5 years.. which is like $60m for investing in $10m. that is the way it works.. So my friend is likely to get back his investment in the first 2 year and others years are profit. while some of them they own 30 or 40% share in it.. and cover up for the man who own the company. Like i can get an oil license for example.. some of this investment are also by countries or govt who use nigerian as proxy to invest based on if they trust that person. |

ecosanders: Keep dreaming u hear, their is nothing in d North yet dey help in funding d xploration of d so call oil u wana die 4.Have you asked where 87% goes? by the way BH can bomb its territory all it wants! the only people i feel for is the innocent that get caught up in the violence. If they have a demand they should bring it to the floor of the senate and debate it as The ND is doing. ND demands HCF and the sooner the Northern senators and the likes of you accede to that demand the better. the rest is just bickering |

Public discourse is not = insult, fellow Nigerian. We can disagree and not be disagreeable! |

dayokanu: Your brethren has shown that the Yorubas have cornered the oil market. Just look at the list! And you call the SE leeches? We do not need oil. Your people need the SS oil. You say that they hate our guts but no one in Nigeria trust the South West. |

EzeUche: Niger Delta people, now you know who your enemies are and it is not the Igbos.FYI ND/SS are not are not in a regional enemy-haunt. The Northern, SW or SE ownership of the oil wells is not the case up for debate in the senate now. the case is for HCF/PIB which is for the interest of the whole nation.just so you know the SS is the most nationalistic region in nigeria case in point our willingness to share and negotiate with other regions for resources thats originally ours, which we all know if it belonged to other regions the case would be different today. Oil wells ownership came up as a result of northern senators opposition to the bill. What the SS wants at the moment is passage of the bill in the senate Nigerian of all strata are welcome and have always been welcomed to invest in SS/ND region an resources as much as the multinationals are.But what we are clamoring for is to let the Host communities benefit from their resources and we all know thats the right thing to do. |

django1: The SS people are quite greedy too if you look at them well, first they get a huge amount in allocation, the oil companies located on their soil pay their community leaders a lot of money, all sorts of special previledges are granted them, but these leaders and politicians keep cornering all the money, and many towns and villages don't even have a clinic, yet the village chief go get house for Lekki!Hand the wells over to dem first. Let see wat happens from there. |

this list only proves nothing actually on both ends. -There is no proof of where the Oil blocks are located. and which ones are still operating. - I dont really care if igbos , niger deltans or yorubas or even northerners are operating oil blocks, but why should politicians own oil blocks? |

Abagworo: I'm usually saddened with the level of reasoning displayed on this forum or elsewhere in Nigeria. Why must we label everything tribal or regional? Nigeria has a population of over 100million while the number of. OPL allotees are not even more than a thousand. How has the ownership of oil wells helped the real Northerners on the streets? What have I personally gained from Tony Ezenna, Arthur Eze, Emeka Offor, Tony Elumelu, Jim Ovia, ABC Orjiakor, Oduah etc even though they are Igbos? Absolutely nothing but oppression of the masses with wealth which does not belong to anyone but all Nigerians. We are deeply brainwshed.Preach brother, preach |

Hush, you want these e-warriors to lynch you?. That stupid senator is one of these community leaders, they feed their people with lies, most Niger deltans had been brain washed into believing that other Nigerians are the reason for the present situation in the Niger delta, but you know what, they shall know the truth and it shall set them free. My heart bleeds for common man in this country, the common man have refused to see beyond their nose, common man is nothing but a pawn on the chessboard of the rich and powerful of our society. TO THE COMMON MAN, YOU KNOW YOUR ENEMIES, BUT BE MUCH MORE AFRAID OF YOUR FRIENDS. |
