Sometimes, I wonder if justwise is human or robot, he's just too active, well done sir . However, I wish this thread could be like UK & Canada threads which are both devoid of e-battle and pandemonium. Imperiouxx, Ojap and GboyegaD, God bless you guys. I've learned a lot from your well reasoned comments, even though I have no plan of going to the embassy anytime soon. |

My end is drawing nearer, it pays not being here too often. |

Yes, I think it is wise, if you have the time and resources, please retake the GRE for better chances at top schools. With GRE 'scoreselect', you can choose which scores you wish to send to your desired schools. |

holuphisayor: Community college admissions hardly get visas for folks. You're here for accommodation gists, but u have to get the visa first. Everybody has a reason...get a university that does engineering. People want help but come in with an non-malleable mindset, one wonders why they come at all. |

holuphisayor:its very RARE to see anyone being granted a visa with a cc's i-20 its best you go with a uni's i-20 to avoid being denied...By the special grace of God when you get to the destination of your choice in the u.s you can trasfer to a cc...besides there are hundreds of uni's in the u.s where you can find engineering majors |

Your CGPA is okay, converting it to the US 4-point scale will land you somewhere around 3.3 or higher, which is much above the 3.0 CGPA benchmark. Your TOEFL score is also good. You're above the 79-80 TOEFL benchmark required by many US schools. However, your GRE score is not high enough to secure you unconditional ECE masters admission in a US university. You should know that ECE is very competitive in the US that even the last on the list of the top 100 US colleges receives massive numbers of applications from within and worldwide (worldwide especially those wizkid indians and chinese) out of which they are only able to admit a select few - these which will be the best out of the whole lot. In order to stand a chance to face the competition, you'll need to roll up your sleeves, face and thrash the GRE. Suffice to say, you NEED to score, at least, 300 if you want to pursue a masters degree in ECE in a good quality US university. Rewrite the GRE and ACE it. You can. Victory is yours. As for your score sending, you'll be the one to indicate to ETS whether to send only your latest scores or all of them. Also, they don't average scores taken apart as well. 2 Likes |

@ Nairaland FBI In one of your hidden posts you threatened to get Yvete's personal details within 2hrs. I want to believe that you are just bluffing because that will be silly and childish thing to do. @Yvete if you are a victim of identify theft in the future you know who to hold responsible and if you need the hidden post where that threat was made as an evidence then let me know. 3 Likes |
