My WD harddisk fall on the ground, after which it worked for an hour and stopped. How do I get it to start working, if not, how do i recover my files.

WAit o, i would be first to comment, if i was online too.

My suggestions are.
most likely the hard disk itself is still alright. just the adapter is bad. if you can just get the right adapter for the hard disk. sata for a sata interface or ide for an ide interface (it usually goes for about 1000) just connect and it most likely will work. or

use data recovery tools like easeus data recovery manager. you can get this from
4shared.com

Good day, sorry I am having d same issue, my hard disk tells me to format when I insert into system, can any1 help with a good software that can recover all my files
