where in 9ja are you, if ur in abuja, try exclusive stores or amigos, if ur in lagos try park n shop, goodies, shoprite and the likes, or better still go to the market on lagos island and ask nothin u wont find there!

U might not find it easily. But go to a a pharmacy and ask them of soda bicarbonate.. That's the chemical name of baking soda. like u I searched every where. Even bakers and caterers in Nigeria tell me there is nothing like baking soda only baking powder...good luck

Baking powder is also called baking soda if you check the ingredient of baking powder you will find sodium bicarbonate.

Its not the same thing.... Baking powder contains sodium bicarbonate but its not baking soda a.k.a soda of bicarbonate

You can get baking soda from the market especially where baking things are sold.its not that difficult to get especially if you reside in lagos.I bake so its 1 of the things that I use often.and a point of correction,baking powder is different from baking soda.baking powder contains baking soda and some other ingredient and they function differently especially in baking.
