What gej is saying to nigerians and the world at large is if you are his friend, you can steal as much as you want and nothing will happen to you.

If gej had granted this pardon at the end of his tenure, he would simply be pardoning alams and no other person. Since his tenure would have been almost over, none of his other friends will have the audacity to steal more money.

I hope I have given you a better understanding? The timing of gej's act is worse than the act itself.

Your post is quite misleading; you failed to mention that a lot of criticisms trailed some of the silly pardons granted by Clinton. President Clinton was also mischievous, by choosing to grant the pardons in the last days of his presidency, knowing fully well He would be immensely unpopular after his actions. There is no doubt that Clinton acted inappropriately, but to now choose to judge Jonathan on the yardstick of an "improper conduct by Clinton" is even more atrocious.

Is not a big issue if GEJ decided to use his power in the most wrongful way by pardoning his master and benefactor, we all know that GEJ is a loyalist to the core but people's grievance about the issue is the fact that he included Diya and co names in the list of people pardoned. We dont want to have a serious revolution like all those countries that we run to for vacation or visa, yet expect our government to overnite be transparent.
