I use a BB Q5 and recently it's been having issues.It started as minor problems like going off on it's own even when the battery is nit down and now it has escalated to not only going off but i can't use any of the apps anymore. my BBM,Skype,Viber, facebook, whatsapp is inactive. I can't access them. I cant even send text messages anymore infact my BB hub is blank. I don't know what to do
Pls has anyone experienced this before how did u handle it Help a sister

try a reset...hold the volume buttons (up & down) until the screen goes dark...keep holding until it starts loading. if that doesn't fix it, dear...back-up your data and FLASH the phone. Or if you're knowledgeable bout loading OS, load another higher than the one on the phone or downgrade to one lower than the installed OS. Safe.

your opinion or mine on how much the phone should sell is irrelevant and has no effect on anything....and the price of any device goes south with time as a natural course of its life cycle so you're not exactly shedding any wisdoms there

BlackBerry; the company has never been known to price their devices like Tecno and its not the business of the company to worry about currency shocks in Nigeria or anywhere else for that matter

if BB is struggling to fly off the shelf, how come its over priced here in Nigeria? if no one is buying how are the kongas of this world selling at the exploitative price they're selling it? that is just one example so consider yourself corrected

thanks it worked. It's been telling me to update my OS for sometime though but i've been ignoring it cos whenever I try it says I have to free up additional 1.9mb in my phone memory. I don't even know what occupies my phone memory cos most of my pictures and songs are stored in my memory card. Now i'm trying to update and I've deleted almost all my apps so I can reinstall them after the update but i my phone memory is still about 7gb out of 8gb.I have no idea what is occupying the space and what else I have to delete and I have a feeling it started acting up cos i'm yet to update the OS. I'm afraid it might start misbehaving again if i dont update the OS.
what do you think?

my friend too that bought the phone also have battery issues. I'm just lucky. I'm running os 10.2.2xxx. I reduce my phone brightness to almost zero,my profile is always on vibrate or on phone calls only and then twice in a month I make sure I run down my battery till its flat and dead then I charge it while switched off till its full. try that first.

download this app from app world "no crop square instapic" it'll help u reduce Ur photo without cropping it and u can use the photo as Ur bbm pic

Some of my applications are not connecting to the Internet. Am using a Q10, I subscribed for the glo comonth plan and it will expire by 29th. My data is below 500MB now, can that be the reason.

Goto device monitor and check under battery usage the apps that use your battery most. Either stop using or delete them

you're running into problems because that's a leaked OS you're running. maybe you shld revert to last official update or upgrade to latest leak. my battery life is 8-10hrs of continuous use. a whole day(16hrs), if I'm out and about

Hi, i am running leaked OS also 10.3.1.1154, Its not the OS, it could be your apps or your data usage. like i said earlier, check your battery usage in device monitor to know the apps that consume your battery. And 3k is too much for an os upgrade. The download is just 1.2gig, thats almost half of a glo 1k subscription.

just extract with winrar or 7zip and double click the exe file to start installation first. make sure you have bblink installed already and your device is connected. Only install apps you NEED and save almost all data on memory card due to the small memory of thee phone.
