depends on which complete package you bought...Airtel now has some complete packages that won't work on devices that are not OLD SCHOOL BB (OS4,5,6,7 & 7.1) e.g. the 3GB for #1,400

Just to clarify something, the official name for the OS on legacy devices (torch, bold etc) is BlackBerry OS or BBOS for short while on new devices(q10, z10 etc) it is BlackBerry 10 or BB10 for short. Just to avoid confusion.

Someone once asked me how he can update his bbos and after typing the whole long process for updating legacy devices, he said he was talking of his z10.

legacy BlackBerry OS is referred to as BBOS as you mentioned while the new OS is called BB10...that distinction is made by those of us who are interested enough and tech savvy enough to know the difference in the two

...for the average joe and jane who just want to use their BB, they really don't care...they just know its a blackberry and all cats are grey in the dark to them

hi expert in the house,i don't know what's beign wrong with my blackberry 10(Q5) device, the phone shut down even before I exhaust the battery i.e, 63% and it just started the stuff today..i don't know if anyone ever experience this before or know any possible solution,the phone is non-removable battery I would have opt for a new battery...

I grab your exp,even a friend of mine whose phone drop in water took to an engineer and the phone was screw into pieces so I know that it's replaceable but the problem is few out of hundreds is skilled in that aspect and fair of getting my phone spoil in the process is giving me worry, between,have never upgraded my device ever since I bought it and that could be the reason as well..... thanks for stopping by.

Disappointing for me tho'...it's a flat app...stickers are in .png format and have to be chosen from the app to share with a contact as an image file. Silly app...Deleting....

Try using the *777*21# code instead

My device memory says 7.4 out of 8gb used. All my music,pics n songs r in my microSD though it's only 4gb.
Also my phone always says 2 update OS but it also says 2 free some internal memory be4 I can do thar n it's my apps that take d space. I deleted all d apps except the ones that come with the phone but still there wasn't enough memory 4 d update. I don't know what else occupies the phone memory spacem
Do u think the update has something 2 do with the BBM issues??

mine worked but I couldn't login or create account....i deleted the poo....no long yarning.

Was trying to root my Samsung s3...then, PHCN seized power...now I'm left with a soft bricked phone saying firmware upgrade encountered an error blah blah....searched the solution and it is such long process. anyone ever had such issue before? What solutions did you apply?

And subscribe again
Or load 1k once you exhaust your plan
It auto renews
