Its a zipped file(1.13GB),after downloading the file unzip it while on your desktop and connect your Q10 with a USB cable and open the file and click,it will start installing. Remember to back up your phone(contacts, etc.). you dont have to use blackberry link,it will install itself without using blackberry link.

The free apps for x-mas see clearly highlighted and you can't confuse them with regular free apps. Besides, they are paid apps that are given free for 24hrs only. After each day the apps are not free anymore

There seem to be a couple of ways of switching devices and transferring old contacts and everything else from one to the other, but only if you still have both devices! I am getting frustrated with the whole thing. Is there anything I can do with the saved contacts in my old desktop manager files?

5. Under Actions click on Restore Device
6. In the popup box, select the backup (device and date) that you wish to restore information from

8. Under that heading, check off all of the available databases (not all legacy data is supported) that you wish to transfer from your old device to your BlackBerry 10 handset (i.e. Address Book, Calendar, or Browser Bookmarks)
