Please help.. I learnt the BB10 System is just like dat of Android [Right? ] Does that mean one can configure these devices manually ? Unlike the old devices which are configured automatically.

So long as the Glo sim has an active bis subscription, apn is set automatically once you put the sim in a BlackBerry 10 device

BlackBerry 10 can allow you to install android apps in addition to the BlackBerry apps if you know what you're doing

I walked into SLOT on Saturday to get a Z30 but couldn't help thinking about the money I was about to pay for a phone (when I still have the Z10 with me). My friend say na person one year salary infact na she spoil my mind

Now you have been using the Z30 for about a month if I'm correct. Apart from a few higher specs in the Z30 which I believe the Z10 can also have if the os is upgraded(minus display size), is there any other substantial reason why you think I should get one?

I love the fact that u stopped to rethink the act of Buying a Z30. In addition to d features u stated, Yeah Z30 has a better battery power na. And it can also help to boost Network in areas of poor network service. I wanted to buy a Z30 too, but decided against it since my Z10 rocks. I v 3 batteries and a Charging case I use with my Z10. Me, I will upgrade to d next big thing that BlackBerry has to offer after Z30.

If you're happy with your z10, you can live without a z30...that's the short answer.

the z30 packs better specs but both run the same OS. Yes, the Z30 will run faster and the experience will be more awesome but the z10 is not that far behind

You will definitely be happier with the z30...I did buy the z30 despite my z10 serving me well. I gave the z10 out to someone who was still on the bbos to win their soul for BlackBerry 10

It's also a good idea cos the z30 will be BlackBerry's flagship for at least another 6 months. The next BlackBerry 10 to be released sometimes in April or May is a low end and I don't expect the next set of high ends until September or October

Future of BB10 in cars

Goodday House. Please am having little stress with my Wi-Fi in my Q10. I used to share my mobile hotspot from my iphone 5s and tap it with my Q10 but since i changed my password for my mobile hotspot in my Q10 ( changing it from the one that came with the phone originally to my own password ),each time i try to connect now with my Q10,it says "authentication time out,pls check your password and try again". But if i try to tap the wi-fi from the iphone with my Techno phantom A,it connects well. Also if i try to connect another wi-fi with my Q10,it connects well also. Is there something i need to do in my Q10? Thanks

welcome to the BB10 thread and glad to see a new convert in our ranks. Your observations about the new look BB are quite spot on and many android and iPhone folks who take a delight at bashing the BB use the previous BB experience as their excuse and have not taken the time to objectively and dispassionately look at the BB10 OS and how it stacks up against their beloved mobile OS

of course BB; the company has made a mess of the whole thing with their poor and non-competitive pricing on the hardware and ridiculous marketing

on the other hand, BB10 the OS has closed the performance gap between BB and the other mobile OS (Android and iOS) everything these other platforms can do the BB10 can do and even do better....speed, reliability, stability for hi-def games and heavy wait apps

the Best Blackberry device to ever walk the face of this planet is currently the Z30....it does everything the Z10 and Q30 can do and does it better and faster but that doesn't take away from the Z10 and the Q10....both are extremely capable and beautiful devices

you might want to ask your gf is she prefers the all touch Z10 to the Q10...the Q10 is a very pretty device and popular with the ladies. its more expensive than the Z10 and Q5 (the baby of the family). The Z10 and Q5 are both below 50k in most shops so you should be able to get your own brand shiny new units to rock

There is little or no difference with Z10 or Z30, not unless you have some extra bucks to throw around. Its the same OS and Identical looks. what more are you expecting from Both Devices.
