@bolded... Dany and the unsullied were out of the archers range... It's normal in a parley setting.
Dany, Tyrion and Greyworm were certainly within the range of the impossibly accurate and powerful scorpions that Euron used to shoot Rhaegal down and destroy Dany’s ships earlier. They had the high ground too. The carelessness of the show runners is amazing.

Dany shouldn't have told Jon not to tell anyone about his parents. That is a no-no for me.

Lol, Danny, WITH the North, saved the LIVING.

That's my point.

In fact, Arya saved all of them angry
so without Dany the north dies so it the same thing we are saying Dany saved the north and the human race, if you remove Dany from the equation the north is lost

Is it possible that the reason John didn't say goodbye to Ghost was because of the discovery that he isn't a Stark? because i know these two were very close.

It was weird.

Wars are not fought and won like that.

A time for battle, is a time for battle.
A time for war negotiations, is a time for negotiations.

Battles are fought and won honorably.

Even if Cercei had ordered for them to be shot at, the damage will be minimal, because they will have time to defend themselves with shields and as we all could see, that the dragon was far far away at the back of the armies of Danny.

If the dragon could Dodge a powerful spear at close range at the sea, i dont think cercei had a chance against the dragon at that range.
And lastly, Cercei knew that Jon and the armies of the north were on their way.

So its better to wait for all the armies and allies of Danny and let the war begin proper.

And that were not all the armies of both Cercei and Danny.

Those armies there were just for escort in negotiating the release of Messandie and the surrender of Cercei.

So i think the writers knew what they did in that scene.

Real carelessness.... even on cersei side. Greyworm could have easily killed qyburn with a spear to even the score when cersei killed missandei but they allowed him go back into the gate...

Now i feel like I'm watching nollywood

Recall when she told Jamie that I wish I would be there when they hang your sister. can u imagine. what insolent, Jamie should have slapped her for being rude.

No doubt.
The pampered little shiit is back home where no one can touch her ; little wonder she can't stop running her mouth.

That was a most distasteful thing to say to someone who abandoned his house and risked his life to fight for Winterfell.

Well as a child, she was utterly rude to her septa on many occasions. Why are we surprised?

I am not one to force my viewpoint down people's throats but there are those who see movies or shows and pay crucial attention to details. They love to know 'the how', 'the when' and 'the why' events happen. Beyond clashing of swords or the senseless gunslings, give or present a logical plot and don't assume the audience are as stupid as those who only look forward to plot twists and fight scenes.

1. Arya killed the NK - How? Till date, no clue.
2. Ser Bronn showed up at Winterfell in a crossbow and found the Lannister Brothers in a chamber - How did it make it past the wall?
3.Two huge, fierce aerial creatures and a rider fly right above ships but never spotted the enemy ships until Rheagal was shot out of sky multiple times. - How so?
4. Cersei paid Ser Bronn heavily to kill her two brothers but couldn't command her archers to kill Tyrion right at her doorstep. How?

I very much fancy the plot, the gore and violence and all. It doesn't mean I switch off my brain when I sit behind my screen to see each episode. This is not about a movie not going the way I want. This is about logic and common sense. Maybe you should drop your emotion and don your thinking cap when seeing the next episode.
Even the Bible does not contain all the life and ministry of Jesus.... Infact if it were to contain every how?, and when? and where? .. the scriptures no fit contain am......
Use the little information they show u in each episode to deduce the logic behind the show, that is what smart people do.... they go and find answers and don't rant and complain about inconsistentency...
Those questions uve mentioned have been solved already... Abeg take am jeje... grin

Yes you are right the scorpion arrow was in range.

However, Dany could have also flew behind and Dracarys them all ... The parley and negotiation of terms are called for a reason: (Try to talk Cersie into releasing Meissande). In medieval times parley are used to negotiate terms of war and also to intimidate opposition (a form of show off).

The truth is the odds of dany winning the war right now is far less.

I think only a very good battle strategy, army of the second sons, dorme and the remaining iron born still loyal to Yari can make the odds be even at least.

Game of thrones just dey anger me with this attempt to turn Dany into a villian. Yes, she has made some mistakes but she has worked hard for this throne and she is definitely within rights. Every single one of her army, she earned it. No single royal house in the entire westeros gave her a hundred men. Now there are saying Jon has a claim. If he has claim, he should build his army not waiting for Dany to win the war and then he sits on the throne because he is a fucking targeyan.

And about Sansa, she is really dumb imo. Someone sacrificed a third of her entire army for you, the least you can do is at least respect and trust the person. If Sansa had what Dany had and the White Walkers with the army of the dead were attacking Dragonstone, would she have sent her armies there? If Dany decides to sit out this war in Dragonstone, she will be very fine. As depleted as her army is, Cersei can't attack her in Dragonstone, so she will be save. What about Winterfell? Will Cersei just sit in the Iron Throne without capturing winterfell or what is Sansa on?

Someone here is saying Dany was irrational for leaving winterfell. Your Hand sits with the man that murdered your father drinking wine and sharing jokes. The man you loved is there entertaining comments of sitting on the Iron Throne. The fucking house you fought for is giving you the eyes of an enemy. Abeg she has suffered enough. If she eventually dies as a villian, I will curse the hours I wasted watching this show.

Good morning
Chai grin I know say the thing pain u...... Don't worry Jon don't want the throne naaa... Him just wan enjoy dany cheesy...

Exactly my thought...and again she didn't kill Tyrion because that would have been the same fate of Qyburn ( and I don't think she would want to risk qyburn's Knowledge all in the quest for revenge). Cersie is smart and very calculative, arguably the smartest lannister in the show.

My baby has been through shiit for this Iron Throne. Everything pain she endured, everything fire she walked on barefooted, everything she went through all her life, the motivation of the Iron Throne kept her going & surviving. She has lost things on this journey, things no amount of gold or Iron throne can ever repay. Dragons, people that loved her & those she loved.

Nobody has lost as much as she has.

Why should she just give up the Throne just like that when she's just inches away from sitting on it? Why?

If I dey mention people no dey mention Sansa else you'll just provoke me. And no Sansa wasn't alone. If you look closely, you'll see she was holding a cup of wine, drinking & laughing with her stupidity.

We are too alike. Lemme guess you are 24.

True, Cercei is very smart.

Even on a battle ground where blood are spilled by rival clans.

Once its time for negotiations, they put a temporary stop to the blood sheds and go to the drawing table.

That is how it is in the medieval times and even in our today's world.

Guys I just watched the last scene between when John was being held by the dragon and the Night king walking towards Bran. If you notice, the dragon was not giving John any chance at all to go after the Night king (I'm sure this was an instruction from the night king).

When the night king started his walk towards Bran after killing Theon, John was behind a rock. But it got to a point when John had to get up, this was when the Night king was standing and starring at Bran.

Also, notice the soundtrack was solemn during these periods, at the same time they showed John looking up at something (i am sure he could see the night king from where he was lying) because he stood up abruptly and face the dragon. But look closely, when he got up he screamed "Gooooo"!! Goooo!!!who was he saying go go go to? I believe he was talking to Arya to make the run using himself as shield or distraction to the dragon. At this point the night king raised his hands to pick his sword.

I believe these moments happened simultaneously (the moment John stood up and screamed gooo! goooo!! and the moment the night king raised his hands for his sword). Also remember one of the generals saw Arya movement, but she was too fast.

Seems John had spotted Arya where she was hiding or maybe somewhere closeby, and she was waiting for John to be the one to fight the Night king. And John knowing he wont be able to save Bran did what he thought was best.

What do you think?

Yes. She used to be very rude to her septa. I think she has been over pampered while growing. In as much as I don't like the fact that she was raped and faced all sorta things, I want to say those things really changed her and see life the way it is.

The situations are different. Robert was never obsessed with the throne. Kingship was merely a by-obtainance for him, after he rebelled against, and conquered the ruling house.

Why is no one talking about the mature exchanges between Sansa and the Hound?
I thought it was nice to see those two folks together again after Season 2 (or is it 3 now?)
Sansa may not be smart, still, but at least she's ain't that vulnerable little bird we all kept worrying about, back in the day.

The scene wasn't really necessary, particularly for the episode. She claimed to have grown a whole and said it with all cockiness to the Hound and two scenes afterwards, she couldn't keep a secret for just five minutes after swearing and before that, he little sister was the one who reminded her that they needed Dany more than she needed them prior to the war.

Sansa is foolishness personified.

.....I am regretting why I even downloaded that episode, would have better used that data to watch how Jason Derulo fell in ultra HD. Seriously, WTF!

WTF did I just watch?....I had to watch the episode twice to actually believe what I just saw. The so called greatest show of all time signing out like this? From one disastrous episode to another?

.... From the NK'S death to how Brienne and her Jilted lover survived to how one dragon is pierced three times in successions like he was immobile in the air yet the spears seem to miss the other dragon who was right beside it. WTF! Is this arrogance on the part of the writers or they just believe they have dummies watching the show. Perhaps they do because I still see people defending such ridiculous writing.

.... You built a character like NK and ended him like that and then you barely built up Euron and now he is suddenly a dragon killer? How?

.... Everyday My beloved now very stupid Aegon repeats like a robot he doesn't want the throne or leadership but somehow keeps doing things that will get him one. They say he has honour yet he does stupid things to defend that hypocritical attribute of the Northern people. "Words stop meaning anything" yet a Northern leader broke a solemn vow in minutes because of envy yet people say she is smart. Honour in despising a woman who lost so much to save your ugly, proud asses. Where is the honor in such people?

....The night king was created to unite the realm blah blah blah, yet I don't see any damn unity here. If the North had their way, they would desert Dany in the blink of an eye. Honourable my ass.

...I blame Dany for all this. She could have gotten her throne first before putting precious resources in fighting what wasn't hers in the first place. She listened to demonic advices from that snake, liar and that nonsense priestess with her useless prophecies. She caused wahala finish and then killed herself.

....A woman who has suffered for what she had no hand in except that she was born a Targeran or whatever. Worked her way up to gather what she needed to pursue her ambitions and then she losses everything in days for people who should have been foot soldiers for the dead. After all this, she then fall in love with a man who has a claim to what she has given a huge part of into and now, she is depressed but people don't see this. All they see is the mad king curse because she is a Targeran what about that confused Aegon, is he not a Targeyan too? Or he doesn't count?

....I hate it when I am disappointed. I hope they don't twist this to make a hard-working woman who fought for everything she owned the villain in order to put one nonsense person on that throne. They must be another way but with the way they have written this season, I won't be surprised if something ridiculous happens.

.... What a way to end a good series.

I saw that seen with sheer disgust. It was no different from what is obtainable in our classic 'Kòtò Ayé' kind of movies. They were all within range of scorpions placed on the wall, yet it didn't occur to the producers and the director that poor Dany would have been killed if it were to be in real life.

All y'all saying Cersei should have killed them all bla bla bla..

You should know batlles are fought honourably, and before some battles there's a part caled "Negotiation part", I dunno if there's a particular traditional word for this, but there should be.

During this period, you can't just kill anyhow. A leader or negotiators selected from both parties meet together, have their talk maybe they can reach an agreement or not.

And if they can't, you still leave 'em be to go back to their camp without touching em (even if the negotiations take place at your end)

Then una go meet the next day for field to fvvuck unaselves

Infact, there are cases like this in the previous seasons.
