Paul onminyi: dis ur drama cnt help u wen bomb is been drop in d north. Ur analysis is vry out-dated nd vry far away 4rm d topic of discusion, may b u shud ask ur landlord or ur co-tenant 2 intepret wat Oji means.. Orji wants igbos to act like cowards. To run home to mummy instead of fighting. Remind me which people in the world history acted thus when confronted? |

Bestman Nnamdi: What advise would you like him to give,m is it because he is not as good as Rochas? The best advice is to tell igbos to organise themselves, get weapons and defend themselves. Also to retaliate for every killing whatever the cost. That is the only way for nama rearers to know they can't mess with us. Running away will only encourage them. Talking about running back home whenever aboki starts violence, we did that in 1966/67. How did that work out for us? |

Instead of debating on what Orji said, I suggest we should proffer solutions to this embarrassing crises the nation is facing which obviously is affecting the Igbos most.I suggest the Elders of Igbo communities should come together and discuss this issue. We should put away our differences and unite to tackle this challenge. The Northern Elders are meeting every now and then but we that are at the receiving end have not held any meeting to the public notice. Are the Igbo leaders trying to tell everyone to carry their cross? If a counter attack is carried out in the South East, may be they will stop their murderous act. I know we are all careful not to trigger another civil war. But those who make peaceful change impossible makes violent change inevitable. The Northern people seems to be more united. I think it's time we get united and come up with a consensus solution. May God help up. |

chatterly: I have read about the so-called long Juju of Arochukwu. In addition, I have lived in Yoruba land and read deeply about Yoruba history of human sacrifice. I can safely say that Arochukwu’s long juju thing was a child’s play. The human sacrifice in Yoruba land is not only seasonal, it is equally occasional. There are specialists in human sacrifice in all nukes and crannies of Yoruba land. They are not called “Aworo “or “Iworo” for nothing. I do not want to touch the Oba’s case in Yoruba land. |

I know we are all careful not to trigger another civil war. But those who make peaceful change impossible makes violent change inevitable. The Northern people seems to be more united. I think it's time we get united and come up with a consensus solution. May God help up.You are correct,we all need to put heads together to proffer solutions to the lingering Nigeria nationality crisis. In my opinion, we need to sit together and agree on the nature of a federation we will all want as a nation- call it national or a constitutional conference. ONE THING YOU MUST REMOVE FROM YOUR MIND IS SECTIONAL REPRISAL ATTACK ON THE NORTHERNERS RESIDING IN THE EASTERN REGION. The reason is simple. With due apology, the quality and quantity of northerners in the south east is so infinitesimal compared to the over 10 million well established igbos in the northern region of Nigeria. By the time you kill ten to twenty Suya mallams in Aba, Owerri or Onitsha, thousands of igbo doctors, Enginners, high level traders and professinals will be massacred in Potiscum, Sabongari, Zakibiam, Hong, Song, Zaria,Kotun Karfir,Bauchi, Biu, Sokoto,Damaturu,Kaduna,Dogo Yaro,Kebbi, Dumne, Daggash, Mubi, name it. Soon, many who talk before they think will shout:'what are they doing there?'; but the truth is,you will agree with me that the logistics of relocating millions of igbos from the north to the southeast is neither a one month affair nor an issue for a mere brain wave pronouncement in a chat with journalists by govt offiacials. Many of the igbos have taken a strategic decision to relocate and are indeed relocating. But we must not make matters worse for them by unco-ordinated reprisals. 1 Like |

Well said and eloquently stated; It is time for Igbo's to take action in rebuilding the East no we can not accomplish this in 1 month but a 12 month action plan can yield great results for developing an area that is being ignored by its son's Igbo's claim to be the greatest in business development and have proven to be every where but in the inherent land of our forefathers we must return and build our fathers land we are still living in the infrastructure built by our grandfathers and greatgrandfathers Shame on IGBO SONS all you can build is stupid big houses Alaanyihaji: |

Instead of causing unnecessary panic, this man should instead be calling for better police protection of all citizens no matter where they may choose to reside in Nigeria. |
