That's a big one. It remains to be seen what adjustments would be done, which beams the matches would be pushed to, 13e, 3.1e, 26e, 7w and surely an increase in price.

Time to get a bigger dish then.

Take your time before you purchase that card .why cant you wait till the season will start,you cant be too sure aljazeera sport card may marry their cards just like dstv .

We used to say JSC sport shows everything except EPL but now they will b showing all.
Yes,the price of cards will go up but far better than d south africans however a larger dish size is d limitation .
Hopefully,since the right is global, i hope they would transmit via NW beam for subsahara .

jsc-sports has HD1 and HD2 @ hotbird...

Odilibe. good HD1 & 2 but jsc signal strength is better on 7'w 64-66% from east of 9ja. I will better choose a good signal strength. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

For you guys informations ..... Aljazeera sports and Abudhabi sports has lost out the EPL bid in 31/1/2013 to a company knw as MP&SILVER company for 3 seasons at rate of £5billion . But these company may give out the EPL right to Aljazeera or abudhabi .

Hmmm bros the actual cost was around 360 million doll.well adsport and aljazera might do a joint bid for the right as report have it.cos the companies in middle east are complainin of not makin much profit due to the soarin cost of ths EPL in dat region.so MP and Silva the agent dat the bought the epl right are still on negotitions to sell it either to adsport.aljazeera or osn or it might be a joint bid.well aljazeera seem to be the favourite.Results will be out soon so keep ur fingers crossed

Its an update brother,if you have new update kindly place it for people to read .To me its a new news i found it yesterday and i think it worth sharing.

MP and SILVER has the right already but they are looking for who will rebroadcast the signal between OSN,JSC AND ABU SPORT.
Since MP AND SILVER is in charge of aljazeera channel called beIN sport the chances of JSC carrying the day is still high among the satellite tv provider in MENA region.

U have a point though. Aljazeera looks likely to have it as they're trying to expand their coverage/package as a build up to the 2022 world cup.

Going through these guys homepage, its like they are picking up the EPL rights in almost all the regions in middle east/north africa/asia. This is going to create a monopoly dat I feel won't be good for the beautiful game.

Lets watch and see. Butt I know dat with their clout, pedigree and financial muscle, should they look towards africa as a whole and not only the northern part, they will sure give Dstv a run for their money.

Although it seems dat the only thing they are interested in is to just get the right and then resale to the highest bidder and take the top. So they might still pick the license, resale to Dstv at a high rate, take their gain, and force Dstv to raise their subscription rate once more to offset the high cost of the license. Which as I said is not going to be good for the beautiful game.

Or they could get the rights, boycott Dstv, sale to al Aljazeera. Thus enabling al jazeera to roll out their package across the rest of africa on the NORTH WEST AFRICA beam on nilesat, giving us a better and cheaper alternative to big brother.

I hope they sell to aljazeera cos I have a strong feeling jsc has serious interest in West African market hence their package that beams to us on w7 and that they once place a bid to air the nigerian premier league.
