Pls I am confused btw 2003 corolla and 2001 camry which one to buy based on smooth movement, fuel economy, space within the car reliability. pls need ur candid opinion here

corolla is with a smaller engine and was built specifically for economy therefore is more fuel efficient and is more like a city car. And because of its smaller frame will be more durable while camry is with more powerful engine. some even come with v 6 engine. it bigger and with more weight and therefore consumes more fuel than the former. It has a feel good better suspension than the corolla

Corolla has better petrol economy while the I4 engine of the camry has a good economy and also spacious. The camry has a better Balance and driving dynamics unlike the corolla. But the corolla is also ok. So make ur decision on the actual output u will want from the car.

Ok, Thanks for the info but i will like to get a better clearance on which have the average combinations of ruggedness, better levels and 2nd hand value as it currently. And which will you advice for a dude that also needs to embark on long distance travel once in a while, Tnx

I have driven both cars, Buy d Corrola broda. Very good fuel economy, smooth ride, rugged, d best 2nd value u can tink of, and if well maitained, u will sell @ a very good price. 4 plugs.

I would essentially advise you to buy a COROLLA. its a zero-issue vehicle, excellent gas efficiency, rugged vehicle, NEVER breaks down (just service as at when due), uses timing chain and not belt unlike the camry,so no cuts, very reliable, easy to maintain etc. The corolla also has very good second hand value. By the way, if you stand at a typical bus stop in lagos and do a count, you'l find out that AT LEAST, 1 in every 10 cars that drives past you is a corolla...

I have proclaimed tthi car countless time, I know its surely gonna be the car i will buy eventually. Toyoto Corrola. I heard its ideal for naija lifestyle. Thanks guys for this update.But the car price no gree change @ all.

Who says the corolla doesn't have gud suspension, the weight of camry kills the shocks often while it takes long time for the shocks of corolla to go out.

So Dapo which one are u saying is d way 4ward and why ? Need more suggestions cos i feel like d corolla is not dat rugged and have fuel efficiency as its only main advantage. waiting my good pple

@ Fhemmmy, tnx a lot but in terms of status, jus a regular guy that needs to move frm point A-B, all i need is realibility for an average guy.
