Good round, lots of goals and a great day for the neutrals. Lets hope tomorrow proves just as exciting and whether Gigi is indeed a pensioner or otherwise.

I knew Madrid would struggle defensively d moment Arbeloa came in for Essien.
If I must remain with Madrid next season if I were Morinho, Casilas, Ramos and most importantly Arbeloa must be shipped out of Madrid.

"We didn't give up hope, we thought we could get one and then try and get lucky and the luck was with us. I didn't feel anything but happiness, [the winner] seems offside but this is football. I am for a goal camera to decide this sort of stuff, but their second goal was offside as well so it cancels it out. I don't care it was deserved or not."

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho: "I wasn't getting nervous because I have no time for it. I am on the bench so I have no time to think or to feel it, they are strong, strong mentally. They don't play against 11, they play 50,000 against 11 and it was hard for us.

"We are there, in the semi-finals and that is what that matters.

"Today is the kind of match where you have everything to lose and nothing to win. People think we are already in the semi-final and players that that feeling from the outside. I felt the team was ready to work hard and had the motivation to reach Wembley in the final.

"I don't know who we will play in the semi-final, it will be against a great team, that's for sure and we need to play the semi-final and enjoy it."
