They are wealthy and successful, yes. But isn't there something distasteful about stealing from other artists wholesale? My first introduction to P-Square was this knockoff version they made of Usher's + Lil Jon's "Yeah." So obviously I had a quite bad impression based on that. Long story short, stealing from others isn't a good look. 20 Likes |

In as much I have not watched the video but if the content is what is alleged in the title of the thread, then that simply shows that the people involved since I know it does not represent the opinion of all the Ghanian persons, are simple frustrated or probably losing their grips in the entertainment industry. 2 Likes |

ekt_bear: They are wealthy and successful, yes. But isn't there something distasteful about stealing from other artists wholesale? You have a point there. They are the kings of Rip-off in Nigeria. They could have called their dance anything other than "Alingo" which sounds and looks like "Azonto". A lot of their past songs too are blatant copies of other songs. But despite all this, I'm sure a P-Square concert in Ghana will still be sold-out. 9 Likes |

If you cry about P'square changing peoples songs, what about Westlife that toured the world singing other artists songs same way without changing anything and making a fortune from it..? Abegi leave mata for mathias. 23 Likes |

ekt_bear: They are wealthy and successful, yes. But isn't there something distasteful about stealing from other artists wholesale? I have to agree. Psquare steals a lot from other musicians and never credits them. I used to excuse them in the beginning when they first cane out but if you've made you name, it's about time you start creating your own style instead of copying other musicians. That alingo song reminded me of a gayer version of azonto. 4 Likes |

It was in the same Ghana, Psqaure broke the record of the highest number of fans attending their show. Despite the relatively low population, the attendance was 5 times more than the attendance in Nigeria. Something is not aadding up here. 9 Likes |

IMHO, alingo is clearly distinct even though they have some semblance. Most of the hot R&B/Pop artists that have existed from 90s till date have an element of Michael Jackson in them ranging from Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Usher etc. Even P-square has MJ in them but it does not take away the little modifications which makes them(the artists) different. 6 Likes |

Truely P-Square like to modify other artistes song. I remember Usher's Yeah which was changed by P-Square to Get Squared. But one thing we can't take away from P-Square is that they know how to sing. Check out their latest song 'Unlimited' with Lagbaja. It's a nice collabo. Weselion: Ghana Stop being jealous, stop this rivalry games, Nigeria is your superior. Black Africans are typically useless. I mean, how can one be bothered about a silly dance or about some artist that has millions of dollars and couldnt care less that you exist?? It baffles me that Europe, Asia etc are struggling to become World powers and we are here arguing about an artist and his dance moves. Thats foolishness at its peak! 14 Likes |
