1. you do not find their name on the list of approved universities on the NUC website.

2. National universities commission (NUC) has never
heard of this school, neither have you, nor your parents,
your relatives, your friends and neighbours, even your dog.

3. they do not operate a proper website.

4. they claim to be a study centre or affiliated with a foreign university.

5. they claim to be a sattelite campus of a Nigerian university
that has never heard of them.

6. they do not have proper structures and you are
attending classes in a secondary school, primary school
or under a tree.

7. they claim you can gain admission without passing JAMB.

8. if you go through step 1 and 2 of this list and you still arent convinced
the university you plan to attend is legal, should you go ahead
and pay fees to these fraudsters,waste your time getting absolutely
nothing of value, lets just say we arent surprised
you didnt pass jamb in the first place
and soon there will be laws that can find you guilty
of conspiring to operate an illegal university.
