Are very sure about this, plus not all Tecno phones have that "fastboot" option. Most just boot directly into recovery.

And please can you give a briefing on how to use the tool? Thanks in anticipation.

My lil bro's phone, a tecno h5 has refused to come on (it doesn't boot up at all, no android or tecno logo on restart ), i removed the battery, SD card, MMC and reinserted the battery after a minute but it still refuses to start.
I have tried all the combinations to boot into recovery mode but it still doesn't come on.
I then plugged it to it's powers source, after a few minutes it showed select boot mode (volume_up to select volume_down e.t.c) with a cursor hovering up and down. Pressing any of the volume buttons doesn't help.

please do you have a solution or I should just ask him to take it to carlcare.

*Only God noes what that boy has been doing with the phone*

Yesterday, my tab began to drag. I tried to reboot, then it got stock at the start up screen. I turned it off and since then it has refused to come on. It is rooted. What can i do?

Pls where do I get bootfile and recovery manager for lenovo S5000-H tablet?

If I hold the low volume rocker button and the power button, it goes into safe mode but its all written in chinese which is not understood by me. angry


Is there anyway one can change the stuff from chinese fonts to normal English?

NB: the device is a 4.2.2 jellybean, 3.4.5 kernel version, and its got a MTK 8389 QC 1.2Ghz CPU. I just want to have the files handy incase of ... I don't pray though.

nt frm the phone,cos p5 is 3.75g enabled,i had same prblm wt etisalat on my m3,i called cc evrytn wz settled. & are u in a 3.75g coverage area? If yes,call cc.

I installed one fake app dat increase rom size of phone not ram, then I boot to cwm recovery followed their instruction 2 wipe n reboot but it couldn't. it showed mount script error. Quickly I tried restoring my backup file data but mount script error showed up again reboot and no longer did I c the tecno boot sign but "android" sign n yet it was stucked there. Out of frustration I removed my ba3 n switching on my fone but it kept blinking dark light. Couldn't boot to recovery or switch on, nothing even while charging the ba3 percent doesnt show just blank dark screen. Went to www..com there, I was told to flash preloader.bin for tecno f5 tried that even tried flashing again a cwm recovery n boot.img but shit didn't happen. Pls help me out.

sorry to hear about your phone. good news is bricking your tecno phone isnt such a bad thing because it can be fixed. on the flipside, we need to locate a nandroid back up of Q1 to enable us flash you Android . in the interim, you could visit carl care if ofcourse they are near your location, just keep intouch for future posts

Tecno D5,D3,B3 has what is called MEDIATEK PROCESSOR thats why rooting such devices aint easy.
