The African Peoples Congress, APC, whose application for registration was turned down by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, last month, has asked the Commission to halt the National Convention of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, holding in Lagos on Thursday. In a petition to INEC on Wednesday, the association premised its request on the suit it filed in court challenging the rejection of its application, which it said has not been disposed of.
