We just stumbled on this tragedy reported about two years ago. In an effort to remember this innocent child that would have be going on 3 years now had his mother not carelessly placed him were the python could reach, we decided to publish this

On March 22, 2011, a blog 9jabook reported that:

“Okada Domain and home of The Esama of Benin Chief Gabriel Igbinedion was thrown into confusion as a massive constrictor snuffed out the life of a baby.

Its creepy but it happened. In the eArly hours this MondAy Morning (March 21st) in the Okada, Edo State. A python About 10fts long swallowed a baby which ppl said was 6months old. According to eye witness the baby was left on a mat outside before the python swallowed the baby. He then raised an Alarm then the python was killed but it was 2 late. May the Baby soul rest in peace”
