"If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God" I Peter 4:11


When your words become His words, and your words produce His kind of results, getting his full backing, you qualify as God's oracle. When people listen to an oracle, they actually hear the voice of God. Whoever is an oracle of God, it is expected that God will provide answers through him. The confused can approach him and expect to receive instructions that are divinely inspired.

That a man preaches well does not make him an oracle. Because people are moved to applaud a speaker does not make him an oracle. He may have the grace to hold people spell bound; that still does not make him an oracle. Ungodly politicians can do a better job at that.

An orator is a good public speaker. A stammerer certainly does not qualify. Yet God would call and anoint a stammerer like Moses and commission him an oracle. Moses might have failed an audition test, but his words did not fail.

-An oracle moves the forces of heaven

-Orators moves men by the power of their words & strengths
-Oracles move men by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Not all preachers, not all teachers, not all Bishops and ministers are oracles. All should be. But not all are. If God is with our mouths we will not speak perverse words. Our words will not be vain words- they will carry fire. They will produce the kind of results, which only God can.

If there is one thing leaders and ministers need to seek now, is to be an oracle of God.
