as an arsenal fan i have to admit that there have been only two calibre of players in europe this season:
RONALDO AND THE REST.

No doubt, messi is a fine player but what has he done this year? He has been out injured and hasnt made much of an impact since returning from injury. He played well against MU but what was the outcome?

CR has been outstanding this season, he has scattered all available scoring record for a winger. He will be playing in the CL finals, Messi wont, he will still showcase his talents at EURO 2008 while messi will be resting. No other player has attained what CR has this year, and without sounding immodest, if CR dosnt win it then the awards have been a charade all this while.
