General Rotimi(rtd) recounted his wife's ordeal in the hands of kidnappers: 'When she was kidnapped, I was in the US. We began negotiating with the kidnappers to release her, while they demanded for money'. He explained that ransom was paid for his wife's release who was in captivity for 10 days. 'When she was eventually released she told us that the kidnappers held constant worship and prayers sessions for the success of their mission.' He said anyone who tells you ransom are not paid for kidnapped victims is lying.
