both are pretty much ob the same line of studies, casting aside the discrepancy btw bsc and hnd in this country i would just suggest u follow ur heart.

My advice for you is that you shuld at least spend a semester in yabatech snx u ve paid the school fees till wen u ll resume in unilorin...
Answer the following questions ..wud u ever be happy if u study mathematics at the expense of ur dream course, wont u ever regret for not chasinq ur passion because of the criticism between Hnd and bsc graduates,If at the long run ..u loose unilorin's admission wat ll u do?..sit at home for anoda year to take another jamb?....these are question that shuld keep on pondering ur mind bro..most mathematicians I know end up in the class. Its better u study ur dream course (mech engine) and after ur Nd ..take D.e to unilorin..its better this way. Had it been u met the cut off mark for mech Engine in unilorin I wud ave adviced u to go there.Dont just study anything for the joy of obtaining a Degree ...Follow ur passion xo that u ll be forever HAPPY #My2Cent ..I ReP #YabaTheGreat

I scored 241 in JAMB, wrote Unilag's putme and after calculating my aggregate, i realised i av a slim chance of gaining admsn though i'm frm a catchment area and m stil hoping 4 d best cos d cut-off is not yet out. I dnt want to put all my eggs in a basket dats y i want to also go 4 YCT's putme. Pls wat are d subjects I'll be writing 4 Business Admin n Mngmt. And wit my JAMB score, how hopeful is d prospect of gaining admsn into YCT? (d putme wnt be a prob- I'ld lyk 2 believe so)

Why is yabatech taking so much time to set up the post utme exams while other schools are already enrolling their freshers

If you chose yabatech, their PUTME registration for 2014/2015 academic session is on.

Exams will hold on the 5th&6th of September 2014
Registration commences today 5th August 2014 to September 2nd 2014

The cut off marks are 150 for ND and 180 for Direct Entry candidates

Registration cost #2500 which includes the Result checker/Past Questions, the payment is made online via Internet banking.
