What is your opinion on Automatic Transmission Additives like; 1. Lubegard Automatic Transmission Fluid Protectant http://www.lubegard.com/~/C-112/LUBEGARD+Automatic+Transmission+Fluid+Protectant 2. Lucas Automatic Transmission Oil Fix(stop slip) and etc? These additives are rare in Nigeria, but they are widely used in US, Europe, and etc. Your opinion? 1 Like 1 Share |

Manufacturers don't recommend it for warranty reasons. these additives might already be in the original fluid, and it might cover up maintenance issues. Additives don't fix problems, but just buy you more time before total failure. The catch is that you are not 500km away from home, in the middle of nowhere with wife and kids |
