In real life, reading crime fiction is fun. The criminals are professionals and the cops are imperfect heroes, with twists and turn aplenty, and we are consumed by the chase until the ultimately satisfying denouement. We are looking for contemporary crime fiction. This is 2013, not 1963. Submissions must: -Be set in or touching on Nigeria. -Be between 15000 and 30000 words -Feature well rounded, willful male and female characters -Revolve around white collar crime, heists or murder mysteries, with a local twist. -Cater to a discerning adult audience with moderately explicit encounters. -Maintain suspenseful tension throughout -Have an ultimately satisfying denouement.
