Dormant is what their air card shows all the time, before i dashed it out

I really do not know what Visafone is like cos their network fail to connect ever since they changed from bourdex. I've gotten the card and can't even make a call and as well can't browse with it. I've also called their customer care and nothing positive have been done to it. pls if there is anyone who happens to know what i can do next to get back on, pls write with my email : linda_arukwe@yahoo.com (linda underscore arukwe@yahoo.com)

the next step to get back is is simple, dispose that card and get another network, they are still very new at this any wont meet up anytime soon.

i can stand for starcomms and DOPC, i have used both and they are fine

Ilive in sango ota ogun state visafone modem is very good here

i use visaphone internet in the office but during downloads, i get a max of 65KB/s. On my MTN at night, i get about 200KB/s

visafone is the worst anybody can buy. i just wish i had been told this before i bought the evdo. for me starcomms is the best.

Stay away from Starcomms and Visafone!!!

visafone is now somewhat ok now, if u r using the 3g/evdo modem, , but downloads aint as fast as multilinks

seriously this visafone is really whacked thought i could escape mtn 3gb limit by switching Its even WORSE how can u possibly have full bar of the whacked
EV {F**KING} DO and still be doin 31 kbps maximum and 0kbps minimum and d only way of reaching 31kbps is by waiting till 3:00am and praying it reaches there

visafone na wicked peeps, they tweaked their software. u can get more than 35kB/sec, when downloading!, browsing web pages opens normally, but when downloading the bandwidth restriction kicks in.

any1 has a clue oh how to break th e restriction?

i hv gotten abt 350KB/sec for less than 15 secs on visafone, so this shows that the potential for high speeds is there, but the managment are keeping download bandwidth low on purpose!

switched to multilinks around march, was getting about 70kb download speeds on my torrents, but multilinks had 2 major problems,

1. if you leave the pc for more than 1 hr without using it, it stops downloading, u gotta disconnect and reconnect ur modem for it to start again, sucks really bad since i usually leave my pc on throughout the nite.

2. when visafone acquired multilinks, the also pegged the downloads at 35kb/sec,

3. multilinks has a fraudulent billing software, if u are on the hourly package, u dont get to use ur allocated hours, fully

now my multilinks modem is resting on the bottom of my drawer!!, looking 4 a free brwsing that i can use with it - i need to get my pound of flesh back.

i get about 1.1gb daily on my visafone, 8am to 9pm timeplan, so it aint that bad, since there is no bandwidth limit, unlike mtn 3g where u r restricted to a mere 6gb in 1 month!!, clowns!

its as if am stuck in the middle of my mtn fastlink{for speed obviously } and my visafone { for duration } i think am going to use your freedom for the mtn fastlink anyone who knows how to do this post please

Methink it depends on location. Its faster in some areas. Please who uses it around Mushin,yaba, and also Adoekiti? I would like to know before i purchase.

Visafone is one hell of a network i love to hate and i regreted ever buying d modem in the first place. My data speed was only 7 to 15kbps and i had to auction it after one month of using it.
Nw am using etisalat and d speed is 250 to 320kbps while glo is giving me 150 to 230kbps all in edge. Mtn is d worse network in my area just 4 to 7kbps.

but glo and etisalat all hv bandwidth restrictions, i think 6gb per month!!, so u cant really enjoy the fast speed since u wud be hitting ur max downloads within a wk, some1 like me, i download about 1gb everyday!

thats d problem bt i normally use my phone for light surfing and my etisalat broadband for downloads and streaming.
