Hello house. I'd really love to know how to do this. I've been using Glo, but will be dropping them when my BIS expires any moment, cos of the recent reduced bandwidth, from 3G to 1G. Now, I'm considering Etisalat, but don't know if I can use it on my PC. Any help will be much appreciated.

Sorry to disappoint you, you can't browse on your Pc using ETISALAT BBm subscription but you also have an advantage that I can boldly say no other network has in Nigeria ..........unlimited downloads ......no more 1GB OR 3GB ........ IT'S UNLIMITED ........I DOWNLOAD like 5GB EVERY WEEK with mine, yeap you heard me right AT LEAST 5GB EVERY WEEK ........there are numerous site you can use for series(HD quality I use with my plasma), movies and music .........I can guide you through

^^^ @Honsule, please help me with this issue. Like I explained, I've been on glo bis for a while now. I noticed my BIS used to last long, cos I don't do downloads. But now, the MB disappears so fast, even though I still barely do any downloads. I wonder if this has anything to do with the message Glo has been sending to me:

Dear customer, you have been browsing on Pay As You Use basis (PAYU) at the rate of 5 kobo per kB or N51.20 per MB

Kindly advice what I can do to stop this. Thanks

Disabled system auto update on your laptop. There is a software at the background consuming your data. Look for it and deactivate auto update. Assuming you tether your Glo bb to your system.

yeah the issue of ''Dear customer, you have been browsing on Pay As You Use basis
(PAYU) at the rate of 5 kobo per kB or N51.20 per MB'' has been addressed..then about your other issue, i think honsule was right..there's something on your pc that's consuming your data without your consent..on your desktop, goto start > search programs and files > type ''windows update'' > change settings > important updates > never check for updates > then click ''OK''...goodluck
