I live in London, I want to go on holiday to Greece at the end of June 2013, but when I went to book an appointment at the Greek embassy I found out that the next available appointment is just 2 days before my travelling time. (after 6 weeks from now and they require 2 weeks of time before my travelling date) I have Syrian nationality.

I have been to Lithuania few times before, and it is easy for me to get a visa from the Lithuanian Embassy more than any other embassies.

Can I apply for a visa to Lithuania, and then I go to Greece with this Visa?

It is perfectly safe to do so, but you might have to explain this to them at the port of entry.
