as young, talented, promising football players are coming up, weak players are leaving, balance is just needed. We just can't keep seeing new players without the dry, old, feeble ones retiring..wtf

This one that all the players are just retiring after the announcement of sir Alex Ferguson's retirement. I won't be surprised if Giggs announces his retirement too.

Re: David Beckham Retires From Football by Nobody: 6:05pm On May 16, 2013
I used to say he was overrated. But in hindsight, he wasn't actually overrated. At least nobody ever said he was the best player on planet.

I think he was a great player.

In my books, he was:

England's best footballer in the last 15 years
EPL's best deadball specialist ever
Second to CR7 as best winger the game has seen in the last 15 years

I know he is overhyped, but nobody ever said he was the best football player, the hype comes from the looks and all those off-field activities, which are not my business
