I'm 19 and I'm still a novice in the field of coding. I launched a wp-site lately last year. Although I'm still building the site up(I mostly use em to test some stuff), I receive a considerable amount of traffic from Mr Google and other top sites(most of my visitor are from: usa, india,canada, uk,russia,portugal,Gambia,zambia, Germany, S Korea c-eu,Ghana ...)... However, I've started experiencing some very serious problems. I noticed that I didn't activate my CAPTCHA in my site's contact us page , so in a day, I received about 500-600 spam messages. I quickly fixed that. However, I again noticed that sometimes my site would be redirected to the WordPress install page... I host with ipage and when I contacted them, they told me that a user on my site has exceeded the database assigned(which is 75,000 per hour per user)... From my perspective , I knew it was a spam bot. Please how do I fix this  ...www.larnedu.com |

Activate the akismet pluging and also search for other security plugings on wordpress u can use |

Its essentiall you secure your wp blog properly against future attack, after install Akismet as others have suggested, pls, install Log in Lock down plugins. This will ensure no invalid entry into your admin area. |
