There is nothing to 'wait and see'. Amaechi is politically dead. In politics, there is always permanent interests but ideological differences, but Amaechi has stepped on some powerful toes, that have capacity to make or mar him with a single phone call.

In politics, we are taught to use our enemies but he chose to manufacture enemies from within and import pseudo friends from unlikely communal foes.
