Pls I need gurus’ adv.

I occupied a biz premises and I want 2 use a part of it 4 cyber café biz (say of average of 7-10 PCs/computers). Tho d area hs not too regular power supply but it’s fair. It’s also a little of students wt youths. At d moment no existing café within d area.

Pls I want 2 know what are d basics requirements esp. in terms of equipment, ISP, bandwidth subscription, etc.

Ok. U have to pay attention to location because that is d begining of success or failure in any business.

Where exactly are u? If u are in lagos, u can get fairly cheap PC(p4) for like 15k or so and screen. U won't need big generator bbcos of fuel consumption. 5.5kva gen will serve u betterr, I think. Get 3in1 printer(printer, scaner,photocopy-though not for comercial photocopy) and one black and white printer so dat ur ink in 3in1 wwill last.

I will only say something abt ISP once I know ur location. Hope u will bbe the manager?

Fan: u will need like 3 small fan.

Chairs: get a gud carpenter to make u strong chairs that can stand pressure.

Table: Also get a carpenter to make u gud table base on the number of PC.

Attendant: Get a smart friendly guy/lady that is computer liiterate. Pls don't compromise this area.

Above all, u have to be ready for the heat that comes with this business. If u can manage it well, u can make something out of it

Cyber in 2013 when kids in primary school have web enabled phones and for as little as N100 you can access the web through your phone.

Please put your money in another business. If you can't think of anything, go and fix the money for 3 months and give yourself time to think. If the 3 months elapse and you have no Idea yet, fix it again.

If you must do the cyber, then make it small like 5 seat then add a photo stating machine, scanner, spiral binder, manual type writer, plastic id card printer, laminating machine. These will ensure you make money daily while the cafe will boom during exam registration and result check. Safe.
