If boko hari reasons like this in 2013, imagine what he will be like in 2015. And APC will ask Nigerians to vote this man.

I am sure that this is the kind of preaching he gives to northerners to poison their minds. Instead of telling the youths to seek peace, he is telling them that they are being cheated and abused by GEJ.

I am sure he has promised them full sharia implementation in 2015, but before then JTF would have wiped them all out.

Encouraging youths to engage in terrorism, just to win presidents and achieve his selfish interest.

Did ND militants kidnap foreigners and Nigerians for ransome ?

Did they almost turn Port harcourt to a war zone ?

Did they coerce the government till they were given amnesty ?

Did they finally get what they want to the detriment of the FG ?

Did they ever kill security personnel ?

Did they ever engage in destruction of oil pipelines ?

Are private citizens permitted to bear prohibited firearms all because they are fighting for their rights ?

Stop tripping buddy. . .All these crimes above were committed by ND militants and are also committed by Boko haram.stop shying away from the definition I supplied to you;learn from it cuz no other place will you get a more comprehensive definiton than from the US government.Terror is terror no matter the motivating factor so far it's all about achieving a political objective.

The ND militants wanted attention to their region and they felt kidnapping expatriates, killing security personnel, engaging in oil bunkering and pipeline vandalization will get them what they want from the government likeise the boko harams felt attacking southerners will get them what they want.will you also have this kind of opinion if the militants had conducted violence against the northerner then ?

Why would buhari compared someone killing people from different ethnics everyday with someone destroying property made from their own tax and kidnapping for ransom or eventually leaving them for free. These issue of boko haram attacks are deadly, it caused more than 10,000 lives compared to media fake claims of 3000 lives. If Buhari families were among those blown into pieces with bomb, he will be addressing Jonah to finish entire hausa generation. If soldiers have not been sent to north, the boko haram are already stepping up their useless death games killing police, students, soldiers and civilians .

Elueme: All I will do for now is to shake my head at the clownish way this man reason.. Why Buhari is irredeemably doomed never to be nigeria's president. This man is frickingly tribalistic and bigoted why he will be loved by the millions of mofoons who reason like him while his national figure diminishes by the day. Trying to bend history is not only wicked but criminal and you can't beat a child and expects him not to cry; these where the scenarios with the Niger delta agitation. Why the militants claimed to fight for neglect, environmental degradation and destruction of source of livelihood by Buhari and his northern Fulani brothers, northern Islamic terrorists had no reasonable course. While the Niger delta militants protected and respected the sanctity of the human life and were in the habit of informing the general public of their set target and gave clue of when, the northern Islamist terrorist take utmost pleasure in destroying innocent and defenseless lives etc
Talk of unjust killings of agitators, arm was the last resort employed by the delta militants. All peaceful entreaties were rebuffed by the Nigerian states and many of their activists were executed among whom are the Ogoni 9 including saro wiwa even when they didn't kill a soul , talk less of Muhammed Yusuf, whose unprovoked carnage in Maiduguiri sent thousands to early grave.
Buhari is nothing by a divisionist. He is playing into the minds of millions of illiterate and bigoted northern Nigerian citizens many of whom share in the same sentiments while hoping that Tinubu and co will deliver a substantial vote for him in the south.
This bigoted tendencies is why Buhari is not and can never be Nigerian president.
Who will rule Nigeria in 2015 we dont know but who will NEVER rule Nigeria we know even the man buhari.

You don't have to attack me. Just point out lies told by Buhari in that interview.
At least if u dont have electricity in your area you will have transistor radio.Where were you when they said the president must be converted to islam or do you expect him to seccede north to them?.This same Buhari destroyed matatsine insurgent in 1984 by killing over 1000 of them but hes now crying foul.Like i used to say and will say it again,if he contests 100 times he will never win, forget Tinubu that has pocketed the whole of lagos and turned the state into personal portfolio because he cant convince the hostile youths to vote for vampire that said muslims should vote for muslim and xtians for xtian just because the last census was zoomed after counting cows and goats as humanbeings coupled with the number of states the north have. The death of the murdered corpers is still fresh in our hearts just by singular nonsense said by the power blinded bigot buhari.

i also lived in PH during that time

yes the militants kidnapped some white folks but they did not kill any
ph was no war zone i was living there at the centre of it. and during inter cult fighting they only attack members of the opposing cult group not innocent civilians except cases of collateral damage

they did not coerce govt into giving them amnesty, yar- adua came up with the brilliant idea, govt also brought up the amnesty idea for BK they refused it.

yes i support the destruction pipeline because i cannot understand how 70% of nigerian oil wells belong to northerners, would you allow me to own a land in your village by force??

so get your facts right and dont be deceive.

the BK boys have been killing innocent civilians irrespective of either they are Nigerians or not, they have been killing women children men boys girls.

stop defending evil. i dont think this is a function of religion it is a function of personal wickedness

That said BH and Niger Delta militants - there is no basis for comparism in terms of ideology.
The BH menace is annoying and has no class contrary to the ND militants.

Buhari has becomes a burden to himself and APC by making senseless comments any time he opens his mouth, i'm sure some of his supporters become confused whenever they read the man's interview.
It is now crystal clear that if eventually Buhari becomes the president of this country, he would care only about the North not Nigeria as a whole, he will repeat what he did when he was the chairman Of PTF.

No one can dispute the fact that he loves the terrorist group called boko haram, other members of his party should know that Muhamadu Buhari has become a biblical Jonah in APCs ship.

GENERAL BUHARI VISITS YOLA AFTER QUENCHING RELIGIOUS RIOTING THAT LEFT DOZENS DEAD.
Nigeria's military ruler, Major-General Mohamed Buhari, visited the northeastern Nigerian city of Yola - in Gongola state - February 29 to assess the extent of damage caused by violent communal rioting two days earlier.

The known death toll from the religious disturbances is nearly 140, with at least another 60 persons injured, some critically. Gongola's acting state governor, Colonel Cyril Iweze, blamed the turmoil on fanatical followers of Moslem fundamentalist Muhammadu Marwa Maitatsine's religious sect. Marwa himself was killed in vicious rioting three years ago, when an estimated 4,000 people died.

In disturbances on February 27, the army was eventually called in to quell resistance from thousands of religious fanatics, at least 715 of whom were arrested by security forces.

General Buhari visited the Yola Specialist Hospital during his one-day tour of the gutted city, and also met with the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Mustapha Aliyu, to discuss the situation.

General Buhari Imposes Curfew To End Religious Riots

. .BAUCHI, Nigeria, April 28— A dusk-to-dawn curfew has been imposed on the northern Nigerian town of Gombe, where more than 100 people have died in religious riots, an official statement said today.

Officials said the deaths occurred in two days of fighting between the police and members of the banned fundamentalist Maitatsine Islamic sect.

The Bauchi state government said that anyone violating the curfew ''will be regarded as a fanatic and will be shot on sight.''

The statement said the situation in Gombe was under control and most members of the sect were fleeing the town. A total of 146 suspected members of the sect had been arrested, it added.

Shooting broke out at dawn on Friday when the police tried to arrest Yusufu Adamu, the sect's leader in Gombe. Officials said nothing had been heard of him since, and it was unclear whether he was among those killed.

The initial police action cleared the sect out of its stronghold, but Nigerian television said many more lives were lost that night when the sect killed local people they had taken hostage.

PDP accused of being behind Boko Haram

ABUJA—THE Borno State Government has pointed accusing fingers at the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as being behind the problem of Boko Haram in the state, alleging that all those killed so far were members and chieftains of All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP.

The state government said ANPP officials were killed in the guise of Boko Haram attacks, just as it expressed dismay that President Goodluck Jonathan, Vice President Namadi Sambo, Senate President David Mark, ministers and other top government officials had never visited the state since the activities of Boko Haram started because Borno State was controlled by an opposition party.

Meanwhile, the PDP national leadership has called on opposition political parties to come out and tell Nigerians if they were causing violence in the country because they want the party (PDP) out of power.

SHOWDOWN: JONATHAN TO SUMMON AZAZI OVER PDP BOKO HARAM LINK

President Goodluck Jonathan indicated on Saturday his willingness to summon the National Security Adviser, Gen. Owoye Azazi (retd), for linking the Peoples Democratic Party with the spate of bombings in the country.

Also, the PDP in a statement cautioned the NSA to steer clear of political matters, so as to avoid making enemies for Jonathan.

It scoffed at his claim that the party was to blame for the bombings in the North because of its non-adherence to democratic practices and values.

Jonathan spoke on the issue while fielding questions from journalists during a visit to THISDAY to commiserate with its management in Abuja, on Thursday’s bomb attack against the newspaper

He said he would not seriously comment on the issue until he had read the script Azazi delivered at the South-South summit on Friday, and “listen to him.”

The summit was held in Asaba, Delta State.

Jonathan also said Nigerians should demand from Azazi what he meant by the statement.

The President said, “Probably, people need to ask the NSA to explain what he really means. I have read it in the papers.”

On the calls by some stakeholders for the government to dialogue with the Boko Haram, the president said his government was ready to exploit every possible means to end the violence.

However, he said that both those who advocated dialogue and those opposed to it were right.

He said, “Those who are saying we should dialogue (with Boko Haram) are correct; and those who are saying we should not dialogue are also correct.

“When we have a terror situation, you also look at global best practice. Just like war situations, you may dialogue; you may not dialogue, depending on the circumstances.

“But we will exploit every means possible to bring this (violence) to an end.”

Azazi had on Friday in Delta State during the South-South summit said, “How come the extent of violence did not increase in Nigeria until the public declaration of the people that were going to contest election in the PDP?

“And I would also like to say this, although the PDP people will not agree with me, they would like to attack me, but I hope they do it in private.”

However, the PDP said, “It is important for us to advise appointees of government to navigate only on the terrain where their authority will not be humbled by superior knowledge, so as to avoid attracting undeserving and unnecessary ill feelings for their principal.”

The party stressed that equity; fairness and inclusiveness were its cardinal principles since formation.

The statement read, “We wish to state without any ambiguity that our great party remains the only political party in Nigeria that is not owned by any ethnic group, person or group of persons.

“All Nigerians are equal stakeholders. All our special national conventions for the election of our presidential flag bearers since 1998 have seen candidates emerge on the strength of national unity, a common motif, which envisages that every section of the country, majority or minority can aspire to the highest political office in our father land via a well-entrenched rotation and zoning principle in the constitution of our party.”

Further, it stated, “that President Jonathan emerged with overwhelming votes of delegates from every state in the country, a feat that was again repeated in April 2011 general elections, which of course, have been adjudged the best in our recent history.

“It is, therefore, a comment in grave error, a fatal diagnosis of facts for anyone to insinuate or directly assert that a section of the membership of the PDP, or its foundation predisposes that only a certain section and not others will aspire to the highest office in the country.

“The PDP as a party will not cease supporting and assisting the national security Adviser in as much as he remains focused in this job of securing the lives and property of Nigerians.”

stop trying to use ojukwu to try and get us to like that man. stop trying to deceive us. just because ojukwu is smiling with the man would not change our opinion on Buhari. Read the article once more, read his nauseating similarties and his nauseating sympathy to group that maimed many innocent lives. after doing so, you might then understand why people despise him.

I used to be fan of Buhari but that thing up there is a load of rubbish. Now I'm beginning to suspect him. He must be foolish and insane to compare ND with BH. Really insane!

GenBuhari: I have said it before and I would say it again.

Where is video evidence? Buhari said that calmpdown is too harsh?

We know Nigerian journalist would write whatever they are paid to write by corrupt politicians.

We know 40 laptops are at work these days.

Buhari paying respect to traditional leaders:

Do Buhari's critics know better than Ojukwu?

Dude, why don't you open your eyes to see truth at least for once? angry
The two highlighted statements above painted you as very wicked- the kind of person who would use senseless political endorsements to twist the minds of illiterates up north just to win votes for whoever he/she supports. What has 'paying respect to traditional leaders' got to do with Buhari's rather ill-thought-out statement this thread discusses? How does that picture show any thing about what Buhari has to offer this country?

So Ojukwu shook hands with Buhari and this automatically means that Buhari has all that it takes to bring this country out of the doldrums , and that Igbos shouldn't think ill of him right?

I really want to know what you aimed to achieve by posting those photos. There are people up north who are much more intellectually sound than the over-rated ex General; people who can stand and debate burning issues in this country from a very objective perspective. They are young and have a lot to offer this country. But of course people like you would NEVER give them your support. You prefer to worship at the feet of this man who's struggling to remain relevant in Nigerian politics when he should be chilling with his grand-kids at home.

All these Political Jobbers in the house, before you post on sensitive issue like this please give us Video or at least audio evidence .The fact is that Buhari must be the craziest fool in history to make such statement when he is having an ambition to be the Leader of this Country through Democracy knowing the negative effect it is going to have on at least 50% of the Electorate .I'm sure that even if he has such views on the issue,he will try to hide it to save his political ambition

the easiest way for pdp to win the next election is to have buhari as the opposition candidate.
it will be a landslide victory for pdp
