''Tahiti goal against Nigeria is their first goal in a senior fifa organized tournament..... 5 of the team are family members while 4 of them are professional plumbers who only take football as part time and just a recreation, while the goal keeper is a delivery Driver''

I have never been really impress by sunday mba...I think cuz he scored 2 goals at the cup of nations make us blind to his incompetency ....there are better players on the street of lagos than these clowns playing for naija....

Mikel taking freekicks like he is pirlo hahahahaha .....what a joke of a player he is...wearing okocha's number 10...he won't even be on the bench on the 1994 eagles world cup team talkless of the 98 team.

Victor moses and emenike were the only reason we won the afcon....

Honestly Keshi is a good coach..I can see that he is aware of the lack of sharp strikers in the team but he can't do anything about it...He subbed Ujah for Ideye thinking a change would happen but things remained the same. I don't support bringing Odemwingie because of attitude wahala, lack of playing time towards the end of last season at west brom and his psychological state so I prefer Anichebe of Everton.

Nigeria has no striker at aaaaaaaalllll, its when SE's play a strong team like Uruguay who are desperate to win now, esp after Spains win over them, thats when we'll know these SE's played rubbish today... Mtchew btw
Uruguay(17) VS Tahiti (0)
Spain (21) VS Tahiti (0)
I have never liked Musa one bit right from the get go.
Its very clear to see Nigeria won AFCON because of Moses and Emenike, point blank the end.

This was Tahiti's first goal in a major international tournament. This means:

We must beat Uruguay outright, a draw would not be good enough. (Assuming we lose to Spain, and not a draw or win.)

I still have faith in Keshi and the boys. It's Nigeria's and Africa's turn to shine in FIFA.

I've been waiting for you here. Were you not the one that said Nigeria will lose all yesterday?.....That's my point. They played rubbish or not, the main point is that they didn't lose as predicted.

this has to be the biggest load of crap I have read in 74 pages.

Siasia should have remained? For wetin? Wetin siasia win? Nothing!

Why una too dey sentimental?

Tahiti score goal, and so? Someone will still make history....Oduamadi is the first African to score a brace in a FIFA senior tournament opening game, no be history be that? Why una no remember that one?

The sad thing about Africans is that they easily subscribe to the whities assertion that they are a useless race....if Tahiti and England had played and this score-line was achieved, the same yeye BBC and Goal.com una dey look, for dey hype them.

Like someone said, no be suwe suwe Tahiti take come here, they won other countries too, they're not useless.

Finally, let us all see how Spain and Uruguay will hammer Tahiti 20-0, shebi na this confed cup wey we dey see

Bunch of pathetic NIGGAHZ!!!

Agree with the above, but it doesnt hurt to add that our team hopefully will play better at the next game and be more settled after the lengthy light and near strike issue. Other players need to step up and play as professionals.

Too many offsides and dribble dribble. Chei.

Thank you my sister. You are spot on. Smart proud naijababe. I'm so ashamed I didn't even notice the history we made. We won a game 6-1 and the press makes us look like we lost and Tahiti won. I was so pissed at ESPN commentators that I changed channel and didnt watch second half .

But this my sister her has proven to be wiser and more mature because education is all about listening to everything without loosing your temper and without loosing your self confidence and self worth. sister you nailed it, I lost my temper at alexi lalas and Steve mcmanaman of ESPN but you kept your cool. You got the right mind-set.
