Hey I'm really new to this whole rap thing. LOL! It's kind of silly actually cuz of how I started. I know that I'm not that good but I'm trying. Anyway let me first tell you how it started. I was in the forum games section and I was playing this game where you just have to give two lines that rhyme. So I tried it and as usual there will be people who will make fun. So as I started going back and forth with ppl I found that I got better and it was a lot of fun. Not as good as some of the people here but still LOL. Anyway I'm going to paste some of my lines here and I want to know what you think.

So as a beginner how do you think I am?

You have the potential. Just worker further on rhyme schemes i.e have a clear cut theme for your rhymes. Like the one in your post is a battle verse (the likes of eminem's "8 mile" and Smack DVDs are good examples of battle rap).

Oh, and another advice - be versatile. Explore other areas of rap -story telling, conscious rap, politically inclined rap, Gospel rap (if ye are Christian), hell even Science, if Canibus can do it, so can you. just do you, express yeself.
