Because Islamic laws are barbaric. Laws which authourize a man to marry up to four wives, but do not authourize the reverse for the woman. Laws which allow a man to divorce his wife merely by saying talaq talaq talaq, but do not permit the woman the same. Laws which allow men to marry outside Islam but restrain the women from same.
