ola_pluto: Nigeria will qualify if:
1. Tahiti beat Uruguay, and Nigeria draw or beat Spain
2. Tahiti draw Uruguay and Nigeria draw or beat Spain
3. Uruguay beat Tahiti by less than 3 goals and Nigeria lose to Spain by 1 goal.
4. Uruguay beat Tahiti by more than 4 goals and Nigeria beat Spain by 4 goals.
5. Luis Suarez bites a Tahitian player and Uruguay get suspended
None of these 5 is sensibly possible. Number 4 is the only one within Nigeria's grasp.
But with Ahmed Musa's legs faster than his brain, I think we will have a spirited game with little goals to show for it.
I dont quite agree with u but hahaha, ur no 5 is soo funny..

"we are not world champions. We just beat the world champions" that is what bayern said when they won barcelona. It is a more humble thing to say than to claim you are the best in the world and not be able to live up to it.

We'd better hope it comes back to haunt them otherwise it reflects very badly on us that with a woefully out of form Uruguay and a walkover whipping boy, the African champs could still not get past the group stage.
For the avoidance of doubt, that will be terrible. We actually had a kind draw compared to the other group. ESPN and Lalas will be licking their lips anticipating ripping into us. It's obvious they don't like our presence here as well as our national spirit of confidence. In their minds, Africans are not meant to look Europeans in the eye and be better than them.
Our boys better be aware that there is so much more at stake than 3 points against Spain. This is for the dignity and honour of all Africa. Outperforming Xavi and Soldado is nothing next to that.
Today had better be one of those days when pride makes players perform at double their normal output.
To be clear, anything less will be failure and totally unacceptable. Africa does not need more heroic failure. We've had enough of that already.
