Nigeria will qualify if: 1. Tahiti beat Uruguay, and Nigeria draw or beat Spain 2. Tahiti draw Uruguay and Nigeria draw or beat Spain 3. Uruguay beat Tahiti by less than 3 goals and Nigeria lose to Spain by 1 goal. 4. Uruguay beat Tahiti by more than 4 goals and Nigeria beat Spain by 4 goals. 5. Luis Suarez bites a Tahitian player and Uruguay get suspended None of these 5 is sensibly possible. Number 4 is the only one within Nigeria's grasp. But with Ahmed Musa's legs faster than his brain, I think we will have a spirited game with little goals to show for it. 1 Like |

In as mch as I believe anything can happen in football, I see this match as a tall order, but who knows, you never can predict with football. It might boils down to the weeping boys in the group, if Uruguay beat them with a wide margin and we win Spain with just a lone goal or two, then we are out. |

bittyend: Nigeria 4Mugu apart from Tahiti when was the last time Nigeria scored more than 1 goal in a competitive match? Look at all the world cup qualifiers Nigeria played. The goals against Tahiti will be classified as outlier or a spike. Spain will score atleast 4 goals against Nigeria today. Even with Victor Valdes in goal and perfect passes of Spain's quality, Nigeria will not have more than 30% of ball possessions and will never score against Spain.Forget about when Raul played against Nigeria in world cup, this Spanish team are champions of the Champions. |
