deols: I cant ever agree that they tried.

How can they have that much chance at possession and not score? it means they lack certain skills/tactics/ brain power.

well, na so God write am.

They lacked what commentators call 'the final third'.

Bro, it's very easy to throw names around but these were the same guys who failed woefully at the last world cup and failed to qualify for afcon 2012. IK Uche is a shadow of himself.
You're right. Tell him

Our boys played well, echiejile and ambrose's confidence and overlaping made me happy. Mikel na still baba. Musa is improving. Mba, not on his bright side. All in all, the boys played well. Perhaps uruguay were overhyped anyway
tnx 4 ur gesture

We did beat a star studded Spanish side @France '98, complete with Hiero, Morientes, Raul et al.
And with our solid control of this game tonight, all hope is not lost against Spain.
But then, who's gonna be slotting in the ball for us ? *please tell*

portage: Nice game all in all. Very entertaining if you ask me.
We need to overhaul the whole of NFA plus the coaching crew. The whole Ministry of sports should GO.
Stephen Okechukwu Keshi needs to update himself technically as far as football is concerned. We really appreciate his efforts over the years as a player and presently as a coach!
Football is presently more than than just kicking the ball……I think you need to kick the ball with a purpose! Things like free kick is an advantage………so as players, you need to take maximum advantage of the situation….Thus, we need to start training players to be specialists in things like spot kick, free kick etc etc. Check out Daivid Bekham, Cristian Ronaldo, Finidi George, Austin Jay Jay and the likes............
Dead ball specialist learn it in their clubs not in the national teams. For now the only one we have unfortunately not playing is Sone Aluko. Lukman Haruna is also better than Mikel.

j4jj: The coach also has a share of d blame cos he should have started with Sunday Mba an attacking striker knowing fully well dat the team is short of strikers
The team has no strikers...when oduamadi got injured didn't you see the minus 1 he brought as replacement
