Have observe vividly that some of our churches have started embracing or infusing taste of HIP-HOP and FUJI tunes to their chorus lyrics.

Some churches even have choreography team who specialises in HIP-HOP steps. Likewise, you have some churches who are as good as singing FUJI lyrics more than PASUMA.....as a xtian, is it right, proper or not really a sin?

It all has to do with the heart. You might not sing hip hop or fuji, but yet, your heart is unclean, but someone singing hip hop, and does it with the whole of his heart, with open minds, gets his blessings and leaves

This is one of christian's most controversial topics. IMO, i think NOT ALL is wrong. A lot of people are quick to rush to the popular defense of 'JUDGE NOT". Some of the said music beats or steps are not only beautiful but could also be a form of worship to some 'god". The mere fact that its a beat or dance does not automatically make it worthy of being sung in God's house.

Daniel 1: 8 says; But Daniel proposed in his heart that he would not defile himself of the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

The fact that Daniel knew it was good food did not automatically mean he could say 'God bless and sanctify this food" then eat it. In some spiritual sense, God could have blessed the food and he'll eat it. But he had a line of respect for God and curtail his appetite by asking for less better meals and trusting God to nourish their body through it.

Hence, the same applies to the secular beats and dance steps we've got in our churches of late. It should moderated and not every beat or dance should be used in our churches.

KEYPOINT: Moderation is Key in our spirituality. The Devil is keen on using different means to pollute God's Body.

Good observation..personally,I see nothing wrong as long as the lyrics are glorifyn God. Atleast the yorubaz use "Ewi" which was been used worshipn their kings and traditional deities to worship in church today nd no one as raised an objection.but what I really av issues with is the makosa, azontoz etc being used. But all d same..its just my own personal opinion..

@ OP, most of our teachings and doctrines these days are more of rationalisation and democratisation; once the majority supports it, it becomes a doctrine. I invited someone to a program in my church yesterday "unfortunately" the organisers and leaders invited a group that was performing break dance with a hip hop beat, my invitee left the church in annoyance. I don't go to hip hop shows but some people are insisting on bringing it to me inside my church. In most instances in the Bible, the majorities are always wrong.
