Our happiness as Nigerians is not rated by what other people think of us but what we think of ourselves. All i Know is Being happy is all about our decision.
Now look at it from this angle, It is only in Nigeria they will use a terrible situation to crack jokes despite the fact that hardship trails the nation. E.g Oga@dTop.

big myth. I work in the development/donor sector and my job brings me in contact daily with Nigerians in the lower income strata of the society. more than 70% of the country's population are in this strata and they are not smiling, they are very angry.

Nigerians are not happy people. How can one be happy when he or she cant afford 3 meals per day.How can one be happy when there are no basic amenities. How can one be happy when PHCN isnt different from darkness. How can one be happy when so many graduates roam the streets without job.How can one be happy when security of life is an expensive commodity.I can go on and on.Truth be told,Nigerians always strive hard no matter how difficult the situation is, to make ends meet but we are far from being happy.
