This whole issue of other countries wanting us out is just a shame. I don't know what will happen to us in 10 years if some drastic wind of change does not come along soon.

We are probabbly worst than you think. Anytime you travel abroad with Nigeria passport , you are subjected to the most inhumane and degrading treatment, its the same, europe , america even african country. All around the world nigerians are view as dupe , thieve , armed robbers, 419, somebody that cannot be trusted.

if you are involved in international bussiness, the moment you mention you are a nigeria , the deal is off. majority of people duped on the net are swindle by a nigerian. if you typed the word "Nigeria" on google search, the result page will be filled with websites warning about nigeria 419. so !!!!!!!!!!!! its official Nigerians are criminal.

one third of our elected paliamentarians are 419. the remaining are criminals involve in looting the treasury. Our government does care about our image( most are criminals too), all they care about is to loot the treasury to the tune of N240 million daily.

Maybe we can start by controling our population growth so there will not be an overwhelming number of us fighting for limited resources in our own country thus forcing many to leave to find greener pastures in new horizons.

Grass root reducation of our young ones to turn away from corruption and instilling a sense of national pride. Its too late for us and those baboons who are running government we are already infected with the plague so I don't see any changes coming with this generation.

I don't care if they build all the infrastructure in the world in Nigeria. We willl maintain anything cause we don't have that culture in us.

There is a sense of competition that exists among other Africans and Nigerians in terms of measuing the success of Nigerians compared to other African countries . The aggressiveness with which Nigerians choose to approach whatever they do is an asset and as well as a liability to us.

I believe the reason many African countries choose to pick on Nigerians is not only because of the bad things we do but the ability and level or success at which we reach certain goals. That's undeniable.

You can't blame them though they are only protecting their citizens and nation from competition of the HIGHEST caliber so of course they will focus on the bad things we do and neglect any mention of good things this competition brings into their societies.

The world is not stupid. We have a country here that has for DECADES continued to fuel the flames of corruption and the justice system seems to have turned it's back on it's responsibilities. We need to stop worrying about how others view us but we also need to stop being; boasters, a loud mouth, a bad mouth, too much ogarism and madamism, ignorant, snubbish, liars, less dependable, tribalistic, less patriotic, etc.
We(Nigerians) also need to bring Africans especially west,south and east to the table and really talk about information and education; in order to let other africans know that we don't mean any harm to them and we know they don't mean any harm to us so that way we can learn more of their cultures and they can learn more of our cultures so that we can ease so much misunderstanding and make unity(not like europe or anywhere else but the kind that has not been heard) a possibilty with peace and willingness.
Finally, we need to stand by principles that africa is one, lead by example in terms of unity with other africans and our respect for law, we also need to show that we can make Nigeria work by being innovative peoples and patriotic people but still remain humble.
Just imagine a Nigeria that is the first and the most efficient in medical research and treatment globally, just imagine a Nigeria that is among the most efficient in terms of aeronautics or aviations globally, or among the most efficient in terms of infrastructural materials and power supplies that were built with green technology in mind. All these stuffs are possible and you will see those conspiracy theorist change their views. If we can be this late in terms of development we really need to have experts in all we lack and have including immigration control.

Why do we need to bring Africans to talk about anything?? We have yet to show that we are able to handle the problems within our shores to the point where we can at least boast of something.
