Toyota Corolla Flooding by numiko(m): 7:21pm On Jul 01, 2013
Amazingly, whenever it rains the driver side floor mat area of my corolla becomes flooded, and the seat directly behind it. But this never happens when the car is washed. I will appreciate a solution pls.

The gum or rubber holding ur windscreen might be weak or out.meet wit those guys that reconstruct side mirrors, they ve a glue they use to path the edges.

Wow! Exactly what was happening to my Corolla too.
Was always wondering where the water came from!
Just checked the windscreen and found out that the rubber holding it is loose, opening up a big gap.
Thanks for the tip! Will head straight to my panel beater.

Re: Toyota Corolla Flooding by kingschild123(m): 4:48pm On Jul 20, 2013
find out where it's coming from first of all – if
you need to stay in the car while someone uses
the hose close to the doors and windscreen –
i've heard of a problem where a small drain
under the windscreen wipers gets cloged and
water starts to come in underneath the aircon
near the pedals. it could be door seals (most
likely) – but other options as well (maybe aircon
is leaking inside but since it rained a lot recently
not that likely)

Turns out it was the door seals, and the problem has been solved. Thank you all for your contributions.
