Middle Belt Forum declares support for Jonathan for 2015
The forum met with the president on Tuesday.

The Middle Belt Forum has said it will support President Goodluck Jonathan if he decides to declare for a re-election in 2015.

The group stated this after a closed door meeting with the President on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa. Abuja.

The meeting is holding weeks after a joint group of the Middle Belt/ South-South delegation also met with Mr. Jonathan behind closed doors.

Addressing journalists after meeting with the President, the group led by former governor of Plateau State, Solomon Lar, said it was disciplined and will not kick-start any 2015 campaign for Mr. Jonathan but would not hesitate to do so if the need arises. His view was supported by a former Minister of Information and Secretary of the Forum, Jerry Gana; and the Plateau State governor, Jonah Jang, who accompanied the delegation.

“South South Forum is the zone of the President; so, if they have started making the noise, it is good because he is their President. Ours is to give support for the good of Nigeria. But you don’t start shouting before the man says this is where I am going. Supposing he says he doesn’t want to go? So, when he talks, if people are supporting, we shall come out to support him,” Mr. Jang said.

Mr. Gana, remarking on the issues discussed with the president, said the session was designed for exchange of ideas with the president.

“The interactive session pointed out a number of problems at stake, particularly the security challenges. So many people have lost their lives, property and suffered tremendously and we are expecting that the government, through the processes already in place, would ensure fair and just compensation where appropriate,” he said.

My myopic President stop deceiving yourself, endorsing u is immaterial, do the right thing and u are done. Whoever eats your money must say you are already endorsed. Your highest votes come not from those sycophants but from the youths who are battling with UNEMPLOYMENT.
As a corps member in 2011, I almost lost my precious life during the general elections in the north. Then we thought you were a MESSIAH, but now we have known you are not. Corruption, unemployment, petroleum products, kidnapping, oil theft, internal insurgency and many more have all reached unprecedented level. Yet in your score card you gave urself a passmark. Giving you another four years is HELL-LIKE.
TEST YOURSELF ON ANY SOCIAL MEDIA OR WAIT TO SEE THE OUTCOME IN THE ELECTIONS COME 2015 WHETHER YOUR BP WILL NOT RISE.
REMEMBER THE RESULT OF THE NGF.

LIKE KANU'S ONE MILLION MARCH ORGANIZED TO DRUM SUPPORT FOR ABACHA.
THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO ENDORSE.
BUT, *BELLE RETAR**** JONA SHOULD NOT BRING THIS ENDORSED LETTERS TO CLAIM NIGERIANS WANT HIM IN 2015.
WE BELIEVE DEMOCRACY, NOT ENDORSEMENT.
OR ELSE JONAH WILL BE "JANGISTICALLY JANGED".

Why won't they endorse him? Who doesn't want the good face of the incumbent president?

It will shock him how the people will abandon him when the time comes.

Well all know what we want, and we will get it.

Endorsement is not the same as winning the Election.........You can go and ask JONA JANG on the governorship election.

Ebele Jonathan says he hasn't decided to run for a 2nd term yet all manner of political masquerades -from the ugly like Fasheun to the grotesque like Clark- converge on Aso Rock weekly, pledging loyalty, support, obedience and servitude to our provincial president who claims 2015 can wait due to his workload yet he still finds time to oversee this village square meetings
sad undecided

Jonathan MUST BE KEEPING ALL THESE ENDORSEMENT LISTS.
BY 2015, AKPABIO WILL CALL A MEDIA CONFERENCE TO PROVE TO THE WORLD HIS PEOPLE ENDORSED HIM.
SO 31 MILLION VOTES WILL BE PROVEN TO BE LESS THAN 18 MILLION VOTES.
REMEMBER THE STORY OF JANGIJAGA.
JERRY GANA, A CAMELEON AND POLITICAL THIEF?
OK. TIME WILL TELL.

Am I the only happy one that there is nothing like one north anymore?I just dong understand why the leaders of this peolple will sit down with the leaders of their enemy and play politics while their own people are being killed in southernkaduna, jos and others?
BTW the middlebelt is made up of six states three predominantly Muslims the other Christians,I don't see the Muslim state leaders endorsing Gej here.

Solomon lar,
Jerry Gana( a political prostitute who supports all trash from any government, from a very remote doko community in Bida Niger state),
Jang( a very foolish old man that can't differentiate between 19 and 16, who's state is in turmoil).
Could all these old jargon be representing the middle belt to support a very poor performing president for another hopeless tenure?
Ok. Let us wait and see.
Jonathan met a boiling country and instead of quenchg the fire he is adding more heat by dividing it into committees and forums.
