Datz not true Oooo...M still in skul and no academics activities going on since monday. The internal strike is also question to tackle. Na ma sch strike paz for Nigerian universities

An internal strike started on monday with which sch management and staffs are in loggerheads concerning the reduction of their payments. Now ASUU don bring thier onw join again. Av bin in 400L since march and still have no idea of when 1st semester exam is gonna hold. Reporting live from Uniben,activities are slowly grinding to a halt like a molue with faulty brakes.Though uniben been dey show strong head,many student have embraced the strike long b4 now,hostel is becoming scanty,classroms are becoming dusty ,while labs have cobwels linking various apparatus.

Usman Danfodio university joined ASUU strike this morning.

Arewa Warrior: ASUU wants 92B from FG in what they call allowances. The Min of Education's budget is around 426BN this year in which i stand to be corrected only about 50B or 60B is for capital expenditure, the rest is recurrent, and ASUU are the chief benefactors of the ministry's recurrent expenditure. The Govt cannot be totally exonerated BUT! ASUU demends are not only unreasonable but absurd!

ASUU r the 12th highest paid in the world.. Greedy people. If you don't like ur job simply resign and hit the street. Being book smart does not translate to making money or being rich. If they want to be rich, they should go out after all, their input is highest 12hrs a week. The remaining time is for their side things.
If FG can set up separate body to mark scripts n exam by void(ing) the lecturers of student scripts will be a lot better.
Secondly, transfering the lecturers to other far schools from their comfort zones where they assume the position of god in students life after all, every other teacher out there is transferable n civil servants too SO lecturers should be transfered more often so perhaps they will reason like human beings.

Here in unizik,we ar stil writin exam witout interruption of anyone........8-)

Ambrore Alli University(AAU) officially joined today!

What a pity. We're experiencing another ASUU strike. Maybe this is another transformation agenda.
But let's hope the issue will be resolve soon.

*students of different departments are bent on having their departmental elections, no holds barred

*some department had lectures, even quiz earlier today

* while VC and lecturers supposedly had a deciding meeting today, outcome is still uncertain, just rumours and hear say.

* some female students are ridiculously dancing all over the hostel, singing 'oh my home'

* and am on my bed, wondering what will become of me tomorrow

As at 3:30pm today after the Benue State University Chapter of ASUU had concluded their meeting, news filtered in that they had resolved to join the strike. Right now circulars are all over the notice boards and students are leaving the hostels. Security are even the ones going round the campus marching students out of the hostels. No news from Federal University of Agriculture yet.
