Cesarian has been in existence for thousands of years although the method was quite cruide and the mothers die in most cases. Its believed that Roman Emperor was born through this method (hence the name), goes to show how dated it is. Shakespear made reference to it in his book Macbeth, that was in the 15th century. Here in Africa, its still considered as a thing of shame smh |

honey86: They die Simply put. Before the advent of modern medicine, lots of women lost their lives to child birth. Now with ultrasound, blood pressure monitoring and lab investigations, women can be closely monitored and mother/child death can be prevented. @dominique, Interesting didn't know dat, nice to learn nu things everyday |
