for example, why do we all talk against christianity and islam? because we have evidence that these are bad religions.

Am not pushing them lol but making them to reason that how can they be beating their head on something that doesnt exist, why dont they let it be even if those who believe thus may be "brainwashed".

One thing i believe is that in any case, those that believe in the supernatural are twice in a better position to accept reality than those that only believe in materialism.

In Christ, we do have experience but most preachers have made it seem that once you seek experience you are loosing it. For instance, the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit such as word of wisdom, knowledge etc is generally believed to be lost with the death of the last apostle. but this is false! This has remained the norm becos of the consistent believe it can never happen again.

No well actually they are beating their heads over the bad influences of foreign religions like islam / christianity over the Nigerian people. They are in truth not against the Gods. how you can you be against something that you feel doesn't exist. infact many of them are even neutral to the existence/non-existence of Gods.

The fact of the matter is, they are against the christian version of the God which has defiled the very image of the Spiritual Forces.

the point is, do we need to hear what jesus has to say about anything? there lived many greater pearls of wisdom, before jesus ' existence and most of it was already revealed (in the written form) before what he had to say. If christianity was truly a religion of God, then would so many evils be committed in its name? The same goes with islam.

True that our long history as people were hardly catalogued, and therefore remain obscure and speculative. But is very very false to say or imply that Western value systems, moral and ethical, were at any time superior to ours.
You have to stop telling yourself that.
Digging deep into European history, there is nothing negative in our culture that Europeans did not practice at one time or another.

Remember that our dense tropical vegetation, and of course, deadly Malaria, isolated subsahara Africa from trade and, new ideas, science and philosophy that circulated for thousands of years in the Northern hemispheres.

Am not good at history, and i won,t even border because it won't change anything, i write base on what i see and experience.

It is normal for african men to uphold their customs and tradition no matter how barbaric and unholy it is, because it magnify's them and reduce the women, the customary world is a man's world.

You may have written very well but sorry, i'm really allergic to custom and traditions no mtter how good it is, they must be tthroughly tested.

To help you understand better, note that African cultural attitudes towards women are not different from any other cultures in any remarkable way.

Up until last 100 yrs or so, European cultures also suppressed, and subjugated the female gender. Infact, female priests are still forbidden in the European cultural religions like Catholic is.

In the middle east, women are still legally considered personal property. Middle east religions encouraged the buying and selling of female children. No African culture that I know of ever practiced such.

In Asia, women are still culturally opressed in this day and age.

On the hand, in certain African cultures, for example Ghana, their matrilineal system ensured that women enjoyed more rights and roles in their culture.

In Igbo culture, women played very important roles in the social cohesion of the Igbo society.
Womenhood was celebrated, not looked down upon.

I am not totally ignorant as you think, the good thing is that you are well versatile and have manage to cite numerous examples accross the globe,

I feel, there is need to harmonise mankind, as it is mankind is currently under threat, we need to think outside religion, customs, and a whole lot of beliefs idealogies of a way forward, carry what we need with us and abandon those ones that actually impede harmony.

We need positive statute to get things right, everything must be regulated: including religion and customs
