Our problem in this country is not really our leaders but majority of citizen that are not enlightened(they become ignorant because of the little change they collect from our rulers that can't change their future.Our condition has become so pathetic that we don't even know what good goverance is anymore;imagine us praising gullible rulers for either being too slow in action or enacting laws that would not be of advantage to majority and common citizens of the country e.t.c
I just want to give you an insight to what a good Nigeria would have being with good leaders:
1.We have lots of mineral resourses in this country in various states namely Gold,bitumen,limestone,kaolin,marble,dolomite,clay,lead,iron-ore,hydro-carbon,glass sand,galena,granitee.t.c Now let's view an industralized Nigeria where we produce glass,iron,bitumen for road construction,energy production and other uses and their is also market for both local nd international consumption,Do you know how many people would be gainfully employed both directly and indirectly? It would even aid the introduction of foreign and private sectors to invest in the economy
2.Yes,we produce hydrocarbon but we export to refine it,what if the government build more refineries as promised? More jobs directly and indirectly.
3.They ve been spendind trillions on electricity yet its getting worse...what if they are truthful and its gets better and we can boast of stable power supply for atleast 20hours per day,this would mostly be of help to students,hospitals and private business owners cos little money would be spent on fuel consumption which swallows an huge chunk of their money.
4.Corruption everywhere...I believe we can tackle this if we fix our judiciary system and security sector I.e simply punish any corrupt leader,citizen,security personnel e.t.c Don't take too long in punishing an offender and also take away few rights from ex convict like in the US where ex convicts can't win Grammy award but wait...Alams and Bode George are still active politians,SMH
5.Good transportation network...I can't type abeg anyway just construct more train tracks,fix our dilapitated roads and build new roads,Can't we have new harbours are riverine states? And as for the airport,planes must pass required tests before you fly em
6.Agriculture:If we invest in Agriculture I.e arming farmers,providing loans and machines,educating them etc would go a long way in producing lotta farms products for our consumption.Also imagine that the govt provide local and international market,more employments
7.Fixing our dead education sector etc
Note:do you even know Dangote is not the richest Nigerian? Few Nigerians are illegally richer!
