No John,I say so because the guidelines mentioned officers frm wing commander & equivalent, principals,magistrates, then it said Local government chairman/secretary. Meaning if it should be done by authorities in your local govt area council,then it should be the chairman himself or secretary.if it would be difficult for you,I'll advice your try reaching someone frm the other pple mention. It would be risky going to the laison office.

It is advisable for you to get 2 other pple apart from the person who did your LG attestation to attest to your character. You can get pple from the kind mention on the LG form.In my case I got a retired military administrator & the Chairman of RANAO Kaduna.

Please how long is DSSC program, I hear is 10 years after completion of DSSC training. Please confirm ?

You can spend a total of 10yrs then retire or convert to regular before your 8th year so you can continue.

Holly the info I got from those before us was that not everyone will be shortlisted. As for Attestation letter format,check google for ideas & go about 2 pages back you'll see were I typed how to address it.
